<p>The 2024 volleyball season has officially wrapped up, and what an unforgettable year it's been for Nevada! The energy was at an all-time high, with players stepping up their game and hitting new career milestones. Now that all the stats are finalized on Maxpreps.com and NIAA.com, it's time to shine a spotlight on the top players who led in their categories. These athletes didn't only focus on the numbers—they put in the hardwork for themselves and their teammates. Their dedication and drive helped them have standout seasons, earning their place at the top of the leaderboard in the most well-deserved way.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><em>First up, we're highlighting the setters who led the state of Nevada in assists for 2024.</em></h2>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#1 [player_tooltip player_id='325888' first='Trinity' last='Thompson'], 2026 - Bishop Gorman High School</h2>

<p>Trinity is once again leading the state in assists for the second year in a row, across all classes. She racked up 1,216 assists this season, helping Bishop Gorman claim back-to-back 5A Southern Region and 5A state titles. Trinity averaged 12.3 assists per set and also recorded 255 digs. <strong>She's committed to playing at the University of Pittsburgh.</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#2 [player_tooltip player_id='221014' first='Rachel' last='Schwartz'], 2025 - Coronado High School</h2>

<p>Rachel had an amazing season with Coronado, leading them to both the 5A Southern Region and 5A state championships. She finished second in the state with 885 assists, averaging around 9.1 assists per set. Rachel also added 144 digs and 67 aces to her stats. <strong>She's committed to play at the University of California, Riverside.</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#3 [player_tooltip player_id='590035' first='Aracelli' last='Hernandez'], 2026 - Durango High School</h2>

<p>Aracelli had an incredible junior season, leading her team to both a 4A Lake League Championship and a 4A state title for the second year in a row. She finished with 849 assists and also racked up 173 digs and 59 aces. <strong>Right now, she's still uncommitted.</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#4 [player_tooltip player_id='666944' first='Mae' last='Stoddard'], 2025 - Centennial High School </h2>

<p>Mae was the backbone of her team, racking up 741 assists this season. She played a key role in helping Centennial make it to the playoffs, averaging 7.5 assists per set. The four-year varsity player also recorded 264 digs and 53 blocks and <strong>is currently uncommitted.</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#5 [player_tooltip player_id='543153' first='Angelina' last='DeGrange'], 2025 - Sierra Vista High School</h2>

<p>Angelina had an awesome senior season, finishing fifth in Nevada with 710 assists. Though Sierra Vista just missed the playoffs with a 6-6 record, she still had an impressive season, averaging 7.4 assists per set, along with 205 digs and 46 aces. <strong>She's currently uncommitted.</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#6 [player_tooltip player_id='629958' first='Mayzie' last='Tobler'], 2028 - Virgin Valley High School</h2>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='629958' first='Mayzie' last='Tobler'] is only a freshman, but she has some advanced setting skills, helping her to finish in the top ten for most assists in Nevada. She totaled 708 assists and has an incredibly bright future ahead. Along with her assists, she also recorded 170 digs and 69 aces. If she keeps up this momentum, she has a great shot at finishing in the top two next year!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">#7 [player_tooltip player_id='721996' first='Kiara' last='Gallinar'], 2025 - Cimarron-Memorial</h2>

<p>Kiara finished her final high school season with a whopping 677 assists. She helped lead Cimarron-Memorial to a first place finish in the 4A Sky conference. Additionally, Kiara racked up 166 digs and 39 aces.<strong> She is currently uncommitted.</strong> </p>

<p>Grace had an amazing junior season, finishing eighth in state with 616 assists. She averaged about 7.4 assists per set and added on 132 digs and 72 aces. Evans led her team to a 3A Southern region title and 3A state championship title. <strong>The setter is currently uncommitted. </strong></p>

<p>Sally was a key player for Foothill this season, racking up 605 total assists. She averaged around 5.8 assists per set and also contributed 219 digs. The <strong>uncommitted senior</strong> led her team to a solid 6-6 finish this year.</p>
