They've been dominating with their serves, racking up double-digit aces in their last nine matches. [player_tooltip player_id='543127' first='Piper' last='Kennedy'] and Alena Winkler are the team's top hitters, making huge contributions to the offense. Piper has also dominated on back row, picking up 100+ digs. Junior Aarti Patel controls the backrow, with over 200 assists this season. Senior Grace Evans has been amazing as the main setter, with 500+ assists and 100+ digs. With all their experience, The Meadows are definitely going to give Fernley a tough challenge, but Fernley's not backing down!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fernley is on a mission this season. While they fell to Elko in the Northern Region Finals, they were on a hot 10-game winning streak before that. Seniors Arianna Mathern and [player_tooltip player_id='582877' first='Marli' last='O'Neill'] have been huge for Fernley—Marli leads the team in digs and aces, while Arianna is leading in kills and is second in digs. Sophomore setter Alauna Escartin has almost 400 assists this season, and middle blocker Justice Artiaga has been a force both in blocking and hitting %. Senior Claire Cox is also a key player in the middle.
