Sophie Kile – 2028 – 5'6” – Outside – Winona

If Winona had played more than six players, Sophie would have been a perfect fit for Libero. She proved that Sophie is used more as a defensive player than an offensive one. Her 20 digs and five kills helped her team add another state title to the six they already have.

[player_tooltip player_id='232323' first='Lexi' last='Lindsey'] – 2026 – 5'2” – Setter – Winona

One thing you will notice when Lexi plays is her competitive fire. Lexi has run the offense for Winona since her freshman year. She finished the weekend as the top Class 1 setter, averaging a double-double of 29 assists and 17.5 digs per match. Her 58 assists and 38 digs put her as the top setter.

Lauren Martin – 2028 – 5'6” – Outside – Winona

Winona is so young, and it's scary for their opposition. Could this be the start of four straight Class 1 titles? This may occur. Lauren is one of four 2028 starters for Winona and played great, with eight kills, two aces, and two digs in the semifinals. In the title match, she added three kills and six digs.

Mia was one of the better libero, I thought, at the Class 1 final four. A very active libero who read the ball exceptionally well. She finished the weekend with 39 digs and helped her team return to the final four after several years of absence.
