Sophomore Middles to Add to Your Recruit List from Top 250 Expo

<p>We just wrapped up our first-ever Top 250 Expo, and it was INCREDIBLE! Over 90 players from Nevada came out to show off their skills in front of Prep Dig scouts and college coaches who were watching live on BallerTV. Players got to compete in high-energy drills and games, while also getting valuable recruiting tips and making new connections with teammates and coaches. It was a day full of talent, competition, and opportunity!</p>   <p>Recruiting for the class of 2027 opens on June 15, 2025 and we want to be sure<strong> college coaches </strong>have these middle blockers from Nevada on their radar. These sophomores really left a lasting impression at the showcase and would be a great addition to a college roster.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2024/11/56-Abby-Keyes.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-721527" style="width:231px;height:auto" /></figure>   <p class="text-gray-700">Abby came in and did what she does best—dominate in the middle. She had some huge kills that totally stole the show during drills and team competitions. Scouts were wowed by her powerful swing and massive blocks that shut down some of the toughest hitters in the gym. She's a beast, and she brought her A-game from start to finish.</p>     <figure class="wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2024/11/52-Jazlyn-Arellano.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-721523" style="width:262px;height:auto" /></figure>   <p class="text-gray-700">Jazlyn was a blocking machine at the showcase! She was reading hitters like a book, shutting down the net with ease. On top of her defense, she showcased her killer swing. She has been consistent all season and quickly stood out to scouts as a top middle at the showcase.</p>     <p>Constanze has been playing beach and her hard work has been paying off. Holding the block is a must for any middle, but with Mangano, it's already second nature. She transitions off the net fast and goes hard for the quick every time, giving the pins a chance for a solo block. She also brought the energy and always cheered on her teammates, hyping them up after every play.<br></p>   <figure class="wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2024/11/43-Constanze-Mangano.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-721515" style="width:234px;height:auto" /></figure>     <figure class="wp-block-image alignleft size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2024/11/65-Trenai-Blaylock.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-721534" style="width:223px;height:auto" /></figure>   <p class="text-gray-700">Trenai went off at the showcase, showing off her hitting and blocking skills in drills and team games. She nailed attack after attack with her quick arm swing, including quicks and slides, blasting through blocks and dropping the ball in the deep corners.</p>     <p>Sulema has a very powerful arm. She has great reach and a quick snap that makes her hits difficult to return. She showcased an impressive vertical and a variety of middle attacks she can execute (i.e. quicks, slides, 3's) and is a sight to see in person. She's a very solid middle and is up next in Nevada as one of the top hitters.</p>     <p>Hadley has insane reach when she swings! She snaps quickly and can hit those deep corners that are almost impossible to pass. When she gets on top of the ball, it pretty much goes straight down, <em>fast</em>. At 6'0", she's got the perfect height for her position, can block, and has a solid vertical.
