Coming off the 2024 prep season, we already took a dive into Player of the Year and the Prep Dig All-D3 team.

But, there are a handful of players that deserve a little added recognition for how much they raised their stock during the fall and what they will bring to the court in 2025.

Here's 10 D3 players that put the rest of the state on notice for what's to come next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='523905' first='Madisyn' last='Bowman'], So. MH Plymouth Christian

Plymouth Christian needed some new offensive options this season and Bowman stepped up into one of those roles, proving she can finish from anywhere along the net. Bowman adapts really well to her sets and has the footwork to keep blockers from getting a feel for her shots. In the next two years, Bowman should become a great force for PCA.

[player_tooltip player_id='490361' first='Aleah' last='Brackett'], Jr. S/RS Bronson

Bronson was able to bring the best out of Brackett in her junior season. She's able to excel in either position because she's very explosive in both roles. She's got a great touch on her sets and does a good job of hitting her locations. As a hitter, Bracket mixes up her speeds well and can recognize the openings in the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='516948' first='Lola' last='Brown'], So. MH TC St. Francis

St. Francis had a pretty balanced offense last season, but was able to add in the length Brown in the middle to really take up their finishing ability up a notch. Brown has elite length and she showed a lot of improvement in her aggression and decision making throughout the year. Defensively, Brown is a big factor as well with her blocking.

[player_tooltip player_id='586777' first='Nemiah' last='Carper'], So. MH Roscommon

Carper definitely put the state on notice in her sophomore season. She is very explosive at the net and can take on a role at the pin as well. She gets big air to play well above the net, and has a quick swing that generates big power. Along with her impressive finishing ability, Carper has a great knack for blocking. She could be one of D3's top players in 2025.

Madison Peppin, So. MH Johannesburg-Lewiston

Peppin was a big breakout star for Johannesburg-Lewiston this fall. She had a great connection with her setter to put down some emphatic kills. She had the footwork to make some solid slide kills and be a consistent blocker as well. She should come into 2025 with a lot of confidence, which will make her a handful for opponents to deal with.

[player_tooltip player_id='544602' first='Olivia' last='Peterson'], Jr. S North Muskegon

Peterson took over the setter role and had big shoes to fill this season, but she looked very comfortable in the position. She got a lot of strong swings out of all of her hitters and had a good feel for when to push the tempo. Peterson is a leader that the team will be able to count on next season, which should help North Muskegon hit the ground running.

[player_tooltip player_id='732275' first='Annika' last='Platte'], Jr. OH Pewamo-Westphalia

Coming off a number of strong years for the program, P-W had some big shoes to fill in its lineup for 2024. One of those spots was an offensive leader on the outside. Platte took on that challenge and proved she can be a go-to option that can compete with the best in D3. She's got a lot of athleticism and a lot of toughness.

Addyson Rhodes, Jr. MH Calvin Christian

Rhodes made a nice name for herself this fall for Calvin Christian. She was consistently putting away key points and battling against a lot of the best middles in the state from the west side of the state. Rhodes showed a lot of improved confidence throughout the season, which bodes well for her to be a player that can take over in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='732306' first='Reese' last='Williams'], Fr. OH Roscommon

Williams played with a lot of maturity for a freshman, which makes her extremely dangerous in the years ahead. Williams had a great sense of where to place the ball and at what speed. Roscommon wasn't afraid to go to her in pressure situations, and she came through often. She's got a great power swing that still has a high ceiling.

Reagan Zuiderveen, Jr. S Kalamazoo Christian

Zuiderveen took on the setting role for the Comets this year and kept Kalamazoo Christian as one of the top offenses in D3. All three top hitters were over .250 on the season as she racked up over 1,000 assists. On top of that, she was relentless with her defensive play and did all she could to keep the ball off the floor.

Coming off the 2024 prep season, we already took a dive into Player of the Year and the Prep Dig All-D3 team.
