Class 2 is strong on the pins, and here are some of the top six rotation pins for the 2028 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='698690' first='Tatum' last='Moss'] – Outside – Mid – Buchanan

The powerful swinging outside for MB finished her first year, leading all Class 2 2028 hitters with 397 kills. At 5'10", she has excellent height and will get taller and stronger, making Tatum a dangerous hitter.

[player_tooltip player_id='729507' first='Jayne' last='Thompson'] – Outside – Cabool

A quiet and deadly outside who has mastered the line shot, I would love to know how many of her kills have come from her hitting line. Jayne plays solid defense and is also an option out of the back row. She would finish 2nd in Class 2 with 389 kills and led Class 2 in digs with 397 for all 2028 players.

[player_tooltip player_id='729498' first='Addie' last='Figgie'] – Outside – Sacred Heart

Addie is just one part of the trio of Gremlins; I love this mascot helping rebuild the program back to state playoff levels. She led her team in kills with 270, which puts her in third place for Class 2 2028 attackers. I'll cover her classmates later, but the trio combined for 631 of the team's 922 total kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='729535' first='Lucy' last='Wanserski'] – Outside – Father Tolton

I finally got around to watching some highlights of Lucy, and she's an up-and-coming player. With more experience on the court, she will be a beast for Tolton on the outside. She already played six rotations and led her team in kills with 190 and 2nd in digs with 278.

[player_tooltip player_id='729475' first='Ava' last='Judd'] – Opposite – Sacred Heart

Ava is the second piece of the Gremlin rebuilding process, and she and Addie will be trouble for the SH opponents for the next three years. Ava finished with 184 kills, good for second on the team, and 142 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='708619' first='Mia' last='Piskulich'] – Outside – Duchesne

I watched Mia and her Pioneers play the first weekend of the season, and she's been on my list of 2028s to watch. Mia is a very fluid player who plays and passes well and will improve with experience. She is 5'9" and probably will grow a little more, but the tools are in place for Mia to become a top outside hitter for Duchesne.

Ella Estes – Outside – South Harrison

Only a few people outside of Bethany, MO, will know this, but this season was the first time South Harrison won a volleyball tournament in program history. Repeat this for the first time in program history: they won a volleyball tournament. Ella led the team in kills with 168 and 161 digs and was the top blocker and passer on a seven-player senior-laden squad.
