Cosgrove helped pave the way for the first winning season for the Bearettes since 2017. Cosgrove did a great job commanding the offense, learning her hitters and angling balls where they could put them down. Cosgrove also had excellent timing on her blocks and served hard. Cosgrove had 352 assists, 51 solo blocks and 76 aces this past season, helping Butler go 16-13, winning a 13th straight 22nd District crown and advancing to the 6th Region semifinals for the third straight season.

O'Brien (pictured) brought a level of consistency to the Bearcats this past fall. When the team makes the first passes, O'Brien can go up and smack balls down from all six positions on the court. O'Brien can send balls to the back line, angle them off blockers and push them to the line when needed. O'Brien also brought nice play digging and serving. O'Brien had 193 kills, 275 digs and 53 aces for the Bearcats.

Schantz shows a lot of grit on the court. She does not take any play for granted. If there is a chance to dig up balls an keep plays alive, Schantz does whatever is necessary to make that happen. Schantz is not afraid to slide on her knees and use one hand if necessary. Schantz continuously dug up solid hitters all season for the Colts. Schantz also scored a number of points on serves and made things happen if West Jessamine got out of system. Schantz had 505 digs, 123 assists and 87 aces to help the Colts go 24-17, win another 46th District crown and win the 12th Region for the eighth time in nine seasons.

Travis does a solid job controlling the net for the Devils. Travis goes up after balls hard on spike and block attempts. Travis can put down short and long sets in the middle and creases. Travis even mixes in shoves to the middle of the court to throw defenders off. Overpassed balls near her find the floor quickly. Travis is also a good passer for the Devils. Travis had 477 kills, 107 solo blocks and 303 digs, helping Owensboro go 24-15 and win the first region championship in program history.

Mulliken dives hard after balls then quickly bounces right back up to do it again if necessary. Mulliken does a great job extending her arms even if parallel to the ground to make solid two to three-point passes. Mulliken sends free balls across the net with a purpose. Mulliken displayed a sound serve and made things happen when Sayre went out of system. Mulliken had 660 digs, 138 assists and 75 aces, helping Sayre 28-8 and win the 11th Region All "A" championship.
