This is an age group with high hopes on the national scene this coming club season. With a handful of DI commits on their top 18-1 Tsunami team, they will return some key pieces that missed time last season due to injury. Some of these uncommitted prospects below saw increased opportunities for the top 17U squad last season to compete and expand their roles, which should help increase their depth and competitiveness as a squad over the quick 18U season ahead of them.

[player_tooltip player_id='477121' first='Lacey' last='Hostetler'] - 5'7 | DS/L (*pictured)
With nearly 500 career digs for Notre Dame Academy, Hostetler has provided some key moments for this club team in recent seasons. She is great support in the back row with her ball control and defense that helps make up one of the best parts of this group's effort. She is fundamentally sound in her pursuit of the pass as she plays with simplicity in her movement and angle production.

Sophia Loomis - 6'1 | MH
An all-ECC 2nd Team selection at the end of the 2024 high school season, Loomis has continued to develop her tools on both sides of the ball to become more of an impact middle. At 6'1, she helps stabilize the middle on both sides of the ball as this team will increase their win total if they can get these quicker options involved to create more space for their big-arm pins. And Loomis can score. She earned nearly 2.0 k/s through purposeful transition to find the ball and create good space to swing. Defensively, she was second overall in the ECC in total blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='231876' first='Ella' last='Goetz'] - 5'9 | OH/DS/L
Goetz has filled several roles for this team over her time at NKYVC. That is a testament to her well-rounded tools, athleticism, and willingness to do what her team needs. She works hard through both pins and has developed a full skill set to be able to contribute offensively from any position. Competing for Kentucky juggernaut Notre Dame Academy, she averaged 1.8 k/s for the 2024 state semifinalists. Her versatility was used in the middle often as she has good transition tools and ability to score in front and behind the setter.

[player_tooltip player_id='305615' first='Liliana' last='Gentes'] - 5'6 | S
Gentes spend some time setting one of the top teams at OPVC before arriving to the 18-2 Tide team with NKYVC for this club season. When she gets her feet to the ball and is balanced on contact she can deliver with good accuracy. Gentes shows good command of her team's offense when in system with ability to be varied with her middles and with good tempo to the pins, which will be key for this team as they have some good options in their offense but are undersized.
