G’s Houston Top 250 Expo Standout Middles

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Some of the most talented prospects in the Houston area made their way to the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] training facilities, in Spring, last Sunday, to join us at the stop of the Prep Dig Top 250 Expo in H-Town.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a very fun morning, with plenty of talented and hard-working players giving their best on the court and nailing the drills. I was following the action closely and will report on the prospects that caught my eye for their strong play and competitive mindset. She didn't seem to hold anything back in any of her actions and made a big impact with her intensity and hard work at the net. Very long and athletic, Galik had a strong presence above the net, getting off the floor with tremendous efficiency. Offense was one of the strongest parts of her game and one of the things that separated her from the rest of the pack. Stegall's footwork made a difference for her at the net and allowed her to be extremely effective in hitting the slide set. I also loved to see how she fully stretched her arm before every swing, making sure she'd make contact with the highest possible point. Every time she got to make good contact with the ball, a powerful swing was sent across the net, giving opposing defenders little to no chance of digging it. Her offense was boosted by her impressive leaping ability and her superior mobility. In every action she made, it was clear how technically sound she is, executing it correctly and delivering great results. Her footwork was solid and her swings were always well-placed. Durant also displayed excellent ball control, dealing well with the serves and free balls that went her way and getting touches on defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
