Galik is part of Kingwood Park’s high school team and competed with Texas Legacy at the club level. A six-footer, she made a strong impression with her athletic attributes. Galik was not only very tall and strong, but also handled the physical demands of being a middle extremely well and was able to keep her level of play elevated until the last minute of the event. She showed she’s capable of hitting the ball very hard when set, but also demonstrated great vision, knowing when to use tips to score. Despite her size, she moved very well at the net and was also productive with her blocking.

Morgan is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays volleyball at Kingwood Park High School and club for the TAV Houston program.  Miss Galik was a standout in all phases of the Expo and many of our coaches and scouts agreed that she was a no brainer for this award.  We have seen her hit a higher tempo on the pins and in the middle, but it was very refreshing to see her speed up her tempo in the middle and be more of a quicker threat on offense.  The faster that she is able to speed up, the more efficient she will be at killing the ball or at the very least she will provide some firepower for her team this season.  We think she has a good ceiling to keep improving from what we saw of her skill set during the two hours of the showcase.  She impressed us so much that she earned this awesome award.  Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo. 

Galik’s high motor made of her one of the standouts in the event. She didn’t seem to hold anything back in any of her actions and made a big impact with her intensity and hard work at the net. Very long and athletic, Galik had a strong presence above the net, getting off the floor with tremendous efficiency. She also displayed a high volleyball IQ and impressive body control, which allowed her to adjust to any sets that were sent her way seamlessly.
