We are now underway with our awesome series of showcases across the country. Up next was our Houston Top 250 Expo at the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] Volleyball club practice facility in Spring, TX. This series of articles is to highlight those players who earned an award from our court coaches and scouts that were in attendance. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. Without further ado, here are a few players who were named Top Performers at the showcase.

Allison is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Oak Ridge High School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='499169' first='MoCo' last='MAVS'] volleyball program. Miss Luke was a stand out performer for a few reasons at the Expo and more than one coach/scout took notice. For me, I really think she battled at the net very well. Her long and strong frame really have a presence when she is standing at the net. Her timing while blocking is one attribute that stands out in her game. She jumps just a little after the hitter and that helps her to press over the net right at the point of attack from the opposing hitter. Upper body strength is another attribute that shines. When she does press over and block the hitter, it almost seems effortless as the ball rebounds off of her hands. As an attacker, I love how she reaches back far in her takeoff position to create a lot of momentum in her swing. She then unleashes fury on the ball with tons of raw natural power. Allison is someone who we will be watching very closely this season to see if she can be added to our lists. In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo.

Amaiya is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Cy Fair High School and club for the [program_tooltip program_id='499169' first='MoCo' last='MAVS'] volleyball program. Miss Lyles definitely showed that you don't need to be over six feet tall in order to impact a game. She was very active at the net and didn't back down from any challenge throughout the scrimmage portion of the event. She is fully capable of running every route in the middle position with speed and accuracy from what I saw. By being a smaller middle, she has mastered the timing needed to still get a solid strong swing on the ball and be a scoring threat. Her court coaches also noted that she was a true joy to be around and that will be helpful to any coach that needs great people to fill their rosters. We are very proud of what she showcased and think she has some true potential. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo.

Avery is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Woodville High School and club for the Xcel volleyball program. Miss Gazzaway performed brilliantly in the back row during the Expo. One thing that I love about watching her play is how she makes very quick movements toward her adjusted defensive position to get ready to play the ball. Speaking of her footwork, she also stays on the balls of her feet in order to be quicker. She is fully capable of playing the ball with her hands and that gives her a lot more range to dig. As far as pursuit is concerned, she is not afraid of getting on the floor if need be and was always ready to run and chase balls down. She si the type of libero who knows her role very well and is excited to play it for her teammates. Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo.
