Among the many talented prospects at Sunday's Michigan Top 250 Expo were a handful of 2028 talents that had a lot to prove.

Here's the second part of our evaluations of these talents.

Abby Lenda, OH Lake Orion/High Performance

Lenda was an explosive outside that did a good job of contributing in all phases of the game. Her attacks were solid and consistent. She was able to get off the floor and wait on the ball to make big swings that delivered a lot of pop. Defensively, she has good instincts and leaves it all on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='644142' first='Ava' last='Kiernan'], S South Lyon/Michigan Elite

Kiernan was one of the younger setters at the Expo, but she turned a lot of heads. The 6-footer uses her length to push a fast pace and make quick connections with her hitters. She was consistently drawing big swings out of her peers at the event and she made good adjustments to each player as she got a better feel for their abilities.

Ava Skrypec, DS/L Chelsea/Michigan Flight

Skrypec was a game competitor, as she really tried to challenge herself and make the most out of the Expo. She was quick to the floor for reps and communicated well to take the lead when in scrimmage mode. Along with her eagerness, she remained consistent in her play with quality serve receive and accurate passes.

McKenna Kaleniecki, DS/L Orchard Lake St. Mary's/High Performance

Kaleniecki was a very coachable prospect. She took well to tips and advice from the staff and her peers and quickly applied it. She had a smooth delivery on her serve receive and she was able to adjust quickly to all the opposing hitters she faced. If she didn't make a play the first time, she usually did on the next rep.

Jenavieve Kattoo, OH Marian/High Performance

Kattoo had a really solid defensive game. She was steady and accurate with her serve receive and she did a nice job of communicating while on defense in the back row. At 5'5”, Kattoo is a bit undersized at the net, but she can get off the floor and makes good decisions in terms of ball placement and shot speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='726856' first='Rania' last='Hamada'], OH Troy/High Performance

Hamada is a versatile outside hitter that has a balanced game. She was making steady plays on defense, including some impressive sprawls to the ball. As a hitter, she's got a compact swing that still generates a lot of power and also confuses opposing blockers.

Ella Gietzen, S Chelsea

Gietzen was one of the walk-ups and she was able to make a nice splash during the Expo. She was in a nice flow in setting the outsides, as she found consistent location and was able to get big swings out of a lot of hitters. Gietzen also did a good job of backing up her hitters defensively and keeping the ball off the floor.
