More Standouts at the Top 250 ExpoDMV

Lots of talent filled the courts Saturday, December 7th in Rockville Maryland for the Top 250 Expo. Here is a look at some more players that stood out regardless of position or class to wrap up the coverage for this elite event.   Let's start off with a powerful and explosive Class of 2028 prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='569865' first='Eireni' last='Scott']. The 5'11” outside out of Germantown, Maryland was fun to watch. She had a lot of torque in her swing with her fast arm. Scott has quick feet when passing as well. To add to her front row prowess she has a nasty jump float serve.   2027 Outside [player_tooltip player_id='536741' first='Lacey' last='Bogues'] from Potomac Falls High School has a great swing. Bogues also has a nasty drop float serve. On serve receive and defense she is really smooth. Really like her overall athleticism.   Chantilly High's [player_tooltip player_id='716365' first='Skyler' last='Riley'] has great length and a high contact point. The 5'10” Outside is super springy and is quick. On top of her hitting ability, she has great hands as well. Love her quickness and ability to find high hands.    [player_tooltip player_id='495262' first='Imani' last='Thomas'], a 5'11” Outside from Bishop Mcnamara is a strong pin hitter. She is explosive and transitions well, allowing her to put the ball down anywhere across the net. Thomas has a great reach and keeps the ball in front nicely. Really love her explosiveness and ability to terminate quickly.   6 '0 " Setter AnaSofia Zanellato out of Academy of the Holy Cross is a great one on one blocker. The Class of 2026 prospect does a nice job of facing her hitters and squaring up, giving them some great balls to swing at. Her back set is really strong too. AnaSofia is also a great passer in serve receive and when she gets a chance to swing she has a great cross court swing.    Another 6'0” Setter is [player_tooltip player_id='730963' first='Maya' last='Berkowitz'] out of St. Andrews Episopal School. The sophomore is strong in all phases of the game. She is a strong passer, digs well, picks up tips and reads well on defense. She, too, is an explosive hitter. Berkowitz gets behind the ball well and has great hands and is able to push the ball to the pins effortlessly. She is offensive minded and looking to sideout. Really love her versatility on the court!    Setter [player_tooltip player_id='448705' first='Danika' last='Swanson'] is a 5'9” sophomore out of Patriot High School in Warrenton, Virginia. She has a beautiful jump set and great hands. She penetrates well when blocking and can push the set from pin to pin. Love her energy on the court as well!    [player_tooltip player_id='471485' first='Kaelyn' last='Wharton'] is a 5'6” sophomore from Independence High School out of Ashburn, Virginia who plays way bigger than her stature. She has a fantastic approach and transitions well. Wharton takes huge rips at the ball! I Love her aggressiveness!    Another high volleyball IQ and smart athlete is [player_tooltip player_id='728459' first='Ali' last='Joyce']. The 5'7” setter from Pvi High School has soft hands. She is so incredibly smart on the floor and a good leader. She reads well and recognizes what is happening on the court. Love her knowledge of the game and ability to lead on the floor.    That wraps up thoughts on the Top 250 ExpoDMV. It was a great morning full of energy and athleticism! What a fantastic way to showcase all of the talented volleyball players from Maryland and Virginia!
