Dawson (pictured) has an amazing personality off the court and it carries onto the court as she does a great job encouraging her teammates. Dawson is a hustler on every play. Throughout the course of the season, Dawson showed she can handle soft and hard shots going to different parts of the court. That includes leaning both ways or hustling forward on shallow shots. Dawson battles with the best hitters, giving Manual a chance in every game. Dawson also possesses a tough serve. Dawson finished the season with 330 digs to go with 75 aces, helping Manual go 29-11, win another 25th District crown and make a second appearance in the 7th Region title game in three seasons.

Marin played a big role in another deep state tournament run for the tradition-rich Jaguars. Marin constantly learns the hitters and finds ways to put them in position to put balls down. She does a great job backing up plays and proved to be a force at the net, especially on double blocks. Marin finished the season with 541 assists, 166 digs, 70 kills, 38 aces and 23 blocks, helping the Jaguars go 28-15, win the 24th District championship, win the 6th Region for a 44th straight state tournament appearance and finish state runner-up.

Genter can run a variety of sets making it tough for opponents to key on one hitter. She can go short, long and even do slide and back sets. She does not lean on the back sets so opponents do not easily pick them up. Gentner is also a sound passer and server. Gentner had 503 assists, 178 digs and 69 aces helping Manual win a third straight 25th District title and make it to the 7th Region title game for the second time in three years.

Barnes makes people take notice of her because of her constant hustle. She does not take plays off. Barnes always shuffles her feet and did the splits in her final game of the season to keep a play alive. She constantly squares her arms up to balls to make solid two to three-point passes to setters. Barnes also has a tough serve to the back row. Barnes is not afraid to push balls to far corners for kills. Barnes finished the season with 472 digs, 147 kills and a team-high 63 aces.

Sorensen helped the transition to a new head coach go smooth for the Generals this season with her leadership. Sorensen constantly shuffles her feet, keeps her eyes on balls, then makes the right moves to dig them up. That often means diving or sliding to the ground and extending her arms. Sorensen finished the season with 389 digs to help the Generals to a second straight 20-win season.

Schomaker did a great job stepping forward to become the main offensive threat for the Bluebirds this past fall. Schomaker could rise up above the net from her strong left side and pound balls to the ground against sound defenders in the back row. She sent them down the line if open and off blockers when needed. Shoemaker had 490 kills, 56 assisted blocks and 18 solo blocks this past season, helping Highlands go 29-10, win the Halloween Smash at Lafayette, win an eighth straight 36th District crown and win a 9th Region quarterfinal game for the first time in five seasons.
