It is virtually impossible to see each and every kid statewide, contrary to popular belief. That being said, when we get the new additions to our rankings, we want to make sure that we've actually seen them play. It is unfair to add someone to our rankings list and NOT see them play or what they're capable of. Here are five new additions to our recently updated rankings that have earned the right to be on our list.

A recent transfer from COA, Ashlyn is normally playing all the way around as a six-rotation, primary-passing outside hitter for her high school. She'll get exceptional, high-end ball control training from one of the best clubs nationwide in doing so, and will definitely be seeing a high-end schedule to go along with that training as part of the 17 Black (17-2) squad at Boiler Juniors. Solid in serve receive, and hard-working and anticipatory in floor defense and block coverage, Ashlyn is a fine addition to a DS-needy program in the fall of '26.

Without confirmation from Rev on Adriana's placement this season, I do know that last season, on Rev's 16-3, she was a relentless and high-energy three-rotation DS. Her platform is calm while her feet are active in serve receive, and her defense in the middle back showed her ability to read and react quickly and well. If her placement is accurate for this coming season, she's made a meteoric rise in a little less than a year, and is starting to separate from the pack in both skill and work ethic.

Gabby recently attended our Top 250 Expo this past weekend, giving us an up close look at why she was one of the main parts of the offense for perennial 4A powerhouse Castle this past fall. She looks every bit the part of a three-rotation outside, averaging 2-3 points per set regularly. Hitting all of the angles well and with pace, Miss Korba will be a nice addition to an outside hitting depth chart on a midlevel team in college.

Athletic and springy, Grace is a hybrid front row player that can be an M2 or a right side at the next level. The great majority of swings I've seen her take are at a slower tempo, so seeing her on a pin in her future is more her projection going forward. That being said, she's one of the better blockers in class 2A in the state, and can already add "conference high jump champion" to a laundry list of various athletic achievements. Raw but trainable, Grace has the potential to be a high-flying pin attacker with a little more high end training, like what she'll get at Empowered this coming spring.

Once again, Eva is proof that there is a ton of volleyball talent all over the state, including southern Indiana at 4A powerhouse Floyd Central. Fully capable of being the libero at the next level, Eva is a solid serve receive specialist (now that two liberi are allowed in college), but can defend in multiple positions when needed. I'd like to see how she will develop this coming spring, but have yet to receive club information on her. Stay tuned.
