The 2024 Michigan Top 250 Expo put over 100 prospects on display on Sunday.

It was a competitive group with a lot of prospects displaying a promising future.

Here's a look at the second part of our 2026 prospect evaluations.

[player_tooltip player_id='490347' first='Sydney' last='Shannon'], DS/L FH Northern/FaR Out

Shannon is coming off a great fall season with the Huskies and she plays with a lot of confidence. She's aggressive in her approach, always making a forward first step to attack the ball and make sure she gets a good run at anything that comes in her vicinity. Shannon also times out her dives and sprawls well to make her passes as accurate as possible.

[player_tooltip player_id='535359' first='Delaney' last='Fillman'], DS/L Salem/Michigan Elite

Fillman is a strong communicator in the back row and speaks with a lot of confidence. She shows really good form in her approach to the ball, able to square up to a lot of attacks and serves. Though listed at just 5'5”, she's able to cover a lot of space with a long reach and make plays that not many other defenders can with her quick reaction time.

Abby Pernick, DS/L Country Day/Michigan Elite

Coming off a state championship with Country Day, Pernick has seen a lot of quality hitters try to score on her, and she's been able to gather a lot of experience from it. She plays a very clean game, making accurate feeds on her serve receive. Pernick stays locked in on every rep and every point. She's not going to make the same mistake twice.

[player_tooltip player_id='400074' first='Sable' last='Dankers'], MH TC Central/Northshore

The 6-foot Dankers has a big, arcing swing that she can utilize in the middle or on the right side. She's someone that is going to find a way to put the ball away in a crucial point. Dankers also isn't afraid to take command on the court. She's assertive and calls for the ball because she's got the skillset to finish. She plays well above the net and has the athleticism to compliment her length.

[player_tooltip player_id='726759' first='Yasmin' last='Haney'], DS/L Livonia Churchill/Team Detroit

Haney is an agile defender that showcased a well-rounded game. Not only was her defensive play up to par and consistent, but she showed the ability to take a nice swing from the back row when the opportunity arose. Haney got more confident as the Expo went on and wasn't afraid to take the lead.

[player_tooltip player_id='726490' first='Nevaeh' last='Plaster'], OH Northview/Rise Academy

Plaster is an eager player that wants the ball in big situations. She was always one of the first to the court for each drill and her play backed up her enthusiasm. She's coming off a strong fall and it showed in her swing. Her technique is smooth and generates good power, and she also does a good job of placing the ball around the court. She also showed solid defensive skills throughout the Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='310635' first='Taniya' last='Radden'], MH Ottawa Hills/Rise Academy

Radden is a hard-working middle that is only listed at 5'9”, but her explosiveness and timing make her play much larger. She's relentless at the net defensively, making life challenging on opposing hitters. On the offensive, Radden is able to make the most out of each ball. Her out-of-system swings still generate good power. When she's got a great ball to play, she usually puts it away.

[player_tooltip player_id='706598' first='Soniah' last='Robinson'], OH Romulus/Michigan Elite

Robinson is a solid all-around athlete that took a good approach to her attack and defensive play. She's got good instincts for the ball and is able to react quickly to adapt to making a tough dig, or adjusting to a spotty set. Her ability to get off the ground looks effortless, yet impressive and it gels well with a fast arm swing.

[player_tooltip player_id='490341' first='Madeline' last='Ostrander'], MH GR Catholic Central/FaR Out

Ostrander is a nearly 6-foot middle that had good hangtime and could really wait on the ball to deliver a powerful attack that came down at a sharp angle. Her hang time also allows her to adjust her body to each different set and still put a powerful swing on it. Ostrander's blocking ability was also among the best, as she anticipates her timing well.

[player_tooltip player_id='487079' first='Jillian' last='Gibbs'], MH Orchard Lake St. Mary's/L2

Gibbs is a middle that has established herself over the last few years, leading the OLSM program to new success. She's a 6-footer that has all the tools. Her slide attacks were among the best of the Expo and she's very consistent in her delivery in the middle. She doesn't look like she has to think much on the court, as everything comes natural.

Jordan Manni, DS/L Comstock/USA Michigan

Manni was a player that looked like she was a wind-up toy. She was always on the move and covering a lot of ground without showing any signs of fatigue. She had a great engine that allowed her to make a lot of tough digs, but still get them accurately to the setter. When she had a chance to battle at the net in drills, she didn't back down from the challenge there, either. Her competitive fire was strong.
