With nearly 80 athletes committed to play at the next level in the class of 2025 in Indiana, and the over 300 athletes listed overall in our class rankings, we wanted to present a refresher course on what these rankings are. We'll include:

Stock Risers

New Additions

Positional Breakdowns

Each of these categories get their own attention. For the stock risers, we look at the kids that made the most headway in their recruiting to the point of earning a commitment since the last updated rankings list. For the new additions, we talk about kids that just now hit our radar, and what they're capable of going forward. We'll also take a few days to list the top five available middles, pins, setters and defenders available to play at the next level.

A few things:

This is a predictive list of how ready these athletes are for their future, not where they are right now.

A lot of lists talk about "best", whereas we spend time predicting how ready that particular athlete is to playing at the next level. You'll note in these rankings that those that have received commitments or have already signed their NLIs will be ranked ahead of those that don't. Clearly, the committed ones are ready to play at the next level.

This is opinion, not fact.

We have to remind you, the reader, that this is not set in stone, nor is it a piece on how "good" or "bad" someone is. Clearly, there are more volleyball players in this class than the 300-ish listed here. By being on this list, you wish to be evaluated, making your athlete already on the right track to playing at the next level. Yes, there are 5-3 setters that are setting all of the records at their particular high school. However, does that 5-3 setter catch the eye of a college coach? Probably not.

It is completely free to edit your own profile.

Wrong club team? A little too generous in height? Position change? You, the reader, whether you're subscribed or not, can not only enter your own profile but also edit an existing profile. That way, we can have the most accurate version of you when we see you on the court this spring in club tournaments around the midwest.

Have fun!

In short, have fun. This is for the kids and their exposure to coaches and programs at the next level. Hateful comments get ignored and deleted, but helpful and pleasant comments get immediate action. Act accordingly, and have fun with the process. See you in January!
