<p>Next up is Six Pack 16U, which is headlined by [player_tooltip player_id='443092' first='Malia' last='Rogers'], one of the state's top players, regardless of class. She has enough talent around her to make this team a factor in this age group. </p>

<p>The versatile and powerful Rogers' 215 kills led a youthful Waukee squad that reached the state tournament. The sophomore ranked among its leaders in digs (119) and blocks (31.0).</p>

<p>Among others, Rogers gets help at the pins from Piper Smith (Cedar Falls), [player_tooltip player_id='490006' first='Harley' last='Askelsen'] (Ballard), [player_tooltip player_id='758775' first='Kenley' last='Johnson'] (Aplington-Parkersburg). Taylen Smith (Union) and Adelynn Goodell (Humboldt) hold it down in the middle of the net. </p>

<p>Askelsen produced 157 kills this past prep season. Piper Smith saw action on state-qualifier Cedar Falls as a sophomore and should move into a bigger roll next fall. Johnson stood out on the sophomore team for a program that reached the state tournament. </p>

<p>Taylen Smith racked up 232 kills (.320) and 64.0 blocks as a 10th-grader. Goodell registered 120 kills (.312) and 35.0 blocks. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='539667' first='Kendall' last='Works'] (Humboldt) and [player_tooltip player_id='493603' first='Miley' last='Geise'] (Roland-Story) give Six Pack two solid setters. The former is coming off a high school campaign with 323 assists, 78 kills and 140 digs. The latter handed out 789 assists to go with 81 kills and 184 digs. </p>

<p>Bettendorf's [player_tooltip player_id='569671' first='Logan' last='Ramstack']and [player_tooltip player_id='555692' first='Gabrielle' last='Demmer'] (Western Dubuque) provide Six Pack with a back-row presence. Ramstack's 235 digs were tops for a Bulldog team that reached the regional finals. Demmer came up with 447 digs in '24.</p>

<p>Six Pack <a href="https://tm2sign.com/app/event/2026/division/9779/pool-bracket/156857">won the Silver Division</a> at its own qualifying tournament last weekend in Cedar Falls. It showed it could be a team to challenge folks in 16U this season. </p>
