She had some nice shots that painted the lines throughout the tournament. Nunn often dives after balls and sends free balls across the net with a purpose. Nunn landed some nice jump serves including one to the shallow right on Saturday. A big thing about Nunn is she is coachable. She runs a lot of nice fakes to free up space for teammates. Cameron also makes hitters think at net with her double block presence, which causes hitting errors. Yates has a sound cutter shot. Yates smacks overpassed balls to the ground. Her blocking forces opponents to hit balls high and wide. She goes hard after balls and makes things happen out of system. Schaffner has a nice floater serve. Hutchins is a six-rotation player on the high school team, but rotates in the front court for the deep 17 Blue Elite team in the 5-1 formation. Hutchins has an outstanding swing and her line shots are tough to dig up. She puts up sound double blocks and makes precise first passes. Her cross-court shots are especially tough to stop.
