Eyes On Me! 2028 Outside Hitters to Watch from Michigan

Out of the Mitten state, this is once more a class chock full of serious potential and a lot of talent. </p>   <p>This latest rankings update has seen over 80 athletes in the midst of the 2028 watch list. We're going to be taking a look at this class position by position. Starting off with the pins in this group, we have to highlight eight of the biggest players to watch. Many are coming off of big rookie seasons with their respective high schools and looking to keep that momentum alive in the 2025 club season.</p>   <p>Take a look for yourself at the Top 8 pins in the '28 class.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='644157' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'] - Romeo</h2>   <p>There is a LOT of young talent coming out of Romeo nowadays. [player_tooltip player_id='644157' first='Addison' last='Bultynck'] is one of the latest emerging stars from this program. Bultynck saw quite a bit of time this fall and showcased a seriously high ceiling. She jumps well, she has a fast arm and had a vastly growing range of shots toward the end of October. She'll step up to the open level this club season on Michigan Elite's 15 Mizuno squad.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='584598' first='Allison' last='Stakoe'] - Bloomfield Hills</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='584598' first='Allison' last='Stakoe'] got a lot of really good looks this fall at Bloomfield Hills. Alongside MB [player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'] (Harvard), Stakoe proved ready to step up and create quite the 1-2 punch for the Blackhawks. On the left pin, Stakoe brings a lot of poise despite her youth. Even when she is not scoring, she consistently throws at hard ball for opposing defenders.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='710238' first='Harper' last='Schaedig'] - Lowell</h2>   <p>Lowell is one of the top programs in the state and with a young gun like [player_tooltip player_id='710238' first='Harper' last='Schaedig'] coming into the picture, they're going to return to their once historic heights. Schaedig found herself front and center of the Lowell offense this season and took on the load with a lot of ease. She'll play her club season on FaR Out's top 15s team where her game will continue to rise.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='569767' first='Quinn' last='Nelson'] - Marian</h2>   <p>This is one player that we did not get to see flourish throughout the fall. One of the strongest players coming into her freshman year, unfortunately, [player_tooltip player_id='569767' first='Quinn' last='Nelson'] was sidelined due to "transfer eligibility". Despite this, a full fall in the highly competitive Marian gym and itching to get on the court, Nelson is going to be a major player to catch in action this winter. She'll be side by side with Stakoe on Legacy's top 15s group.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='732306' first='Reese' last='Williams'] - Roscommon</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='732306' first='Reese' last='Williams'] may have been one of the most impactful freshamn this fall. Roscommon was on the verge of busting into historic heights this year and it was because of Williams. She may have one of the heaviest arms in the class and she can throw the ball to just about any corner of the court with a lot of pace. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='560553' first='Macaire' last='Kudary'] - Traverse City Central</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='560553' first='Macaire' last='Kudary'] showed off at the Freshman showcase way back in August and continued to shine throughout her rookie season at TCC. She's one of those players that could seemingly slot into any different position alongside the net and find success. Ideally, she looks top notch on the right pin where she looks most comfortable and most terminal. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='584627' first='Shalamar' last='Guerrant'] - Detroit Country Day</h2>   <p>Not many players can say that they won a state championship in their freshman year. [player_tooltip player_id='584627' first='Shalamar' last='Guerrant'] is one of the select few and she wants to build upon it. Guerrant is a high flying undersized player that has a lot of fun energy to bring to the table. She has seen a lot of action on the right pin and i'll be curious to see if she remains on that pin throughout this season with Legacy's 15-2 Adidas.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brenna McMaster - Trenton</h2>   <p>Trenton will be looking to ride off of the growth of Brenna McMaster for years to come. Showing a lot of upside with the downriver program over this fall, McMaster showed signs to be the next major talent to come out of the area. She's got a live wire arm that can pack a mighty punch when she makes full contact. She'll join forces with Bultynck on MiElite's 15 Mizuno coached by <strong>Mayssa Cook</strong>.</p>
