Legacy 15-2 ADIDAS Club Preview For 2025

That is <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='579822' first='Addison' last='Dresch']</strong> who comes out of the Dexter program. Dresch has a lot of trust from the coaches and plays with a lot of maturity for her age. She's able to hit all the spots and mix things up to a number of hitters. Dresch is someone that can handle high-pressure situations and lead her team to victory.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Defensive Battle</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top position battles on this team will be for the libero jersey. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='765798' first='Allison' last='Lee'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='765796' first='Scarlett' last='Paquette'] </strong>are both defensive specialists that can shoulder the responsibility. On top of that <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='765802' first='Anna' last='Naida'] </strong>is a 5'10” outside that could also be relied on for her defensive play throughout the season. All three of these prospects show a lot of promise in the back row and bring different strengths to the position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Hitting Power</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Legacy won't be lacking in dynamic hitters on the outside or middle and they can be flexible with their lineup as their pins can play either end. On top of Naida, Legacy has <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='584627' first='Shalamar' last='Guerrant']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='765800' first='Olive' last='Rivera']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='586236' first='Lauren' last='West']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='587007' first='Julia' last='Kavaliauskas']</strong> as options on the pins. Each has good length and can generate a lot of power. In the middle, Legacy has <strong>Megan Wiliams</strong>, <strong>Audrey Collier</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='765805' first='Kourey' last='Perkins']</strong>. These hitters all have a lot of athleticism, which should allow Legacy to push a fast pace and attack from all angles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Expectations</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Don't let the “2” on the on the name fool you, this Legacy squad is capable of competing with the best 15U teams in the state and the Midwest. That was proven by its top-10 finish of the 15 Open Division at The Nike Classic this past weekend. The team rallied for some tough three-set wins to reach the gold bracket and ultimately they lost to the runner-up of the event. This squad won't be backing down from a challenge and as they get more chemistry with one another, they could really make some waves at Open events.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
