The Libero Recruitment List: Top DS/L at Top250 Expo (Pt. 1)

It was quite the afternoon at the Courts in Beaverton on Sunday, December 22nd. With over 100 athletes from Oregon and Washington gathering to compete, it was a fast-paced and high-energy-filled gym.   To kick off our coverage of the event, we'll be highlighting the top DS/L from classes 2026 through 2028. These rising stars are already making waves in the volleyball world and will undoubtedly be valuable additions to your recruiting list.    Grace was a standout performer in the backrow throughout the Top 250 Expo. Her impressive defensive range was on full display during position work, and this carried over into gameplay, where her quick reactions and relentless hustle kept her team competitive in rallies. Additionally, her ability to deliver accurate out-of-system sets with her hands was a notable highlight of her skill set.     Davis was a reliable and steady presence in the backcourt throughout the Top 250 Expo. Her consistent passing remained unwavering from start to finish. She delivered one 3-pass after another during Queens and maintained that level of excellence through gameplay at the end of the event. Her refined technical skills in both serve receive and defense were evident, showcasing her poise and proficiency in critical moments.     Moevao turned heads during Queens with her impressive vertical and powerful arm swing, and she continued to impress during position work with the defensive specialists. She demonstrated her defensive prowess by reading attacks to position herself for successful digs and using her quick reaction time to handle balls hit outside her zone. Watching her command the backcourt made it evident that she is not only a high-level defender but also a dynamic offensive threat capable of swinging with the best.     Avci was a commanding presence in the backcourt during the Top 250 Expo. At Queens, she showcased her reliability with a solid serve receive that consistently put the setter in an ideal position. Her sound first contact was a key factor in setting up successful plays. In defensive position work, her composed movements and poise stood out, demonstrating her control and confidence on the court. Additionally, she brought a powerful jump float serve to the service line, adding a competitive edge to her game.     Crepeaux has been a regular at our showcases, and she's always a positive and uplifting presence in the gym. Over the past season, her game has shown significant improvement. Her serve receive is strong, marked by a well-timed prep hop that allows her to react quickly and maintain excellent spacing between her body and platform.
