Ratajczak first caught my attention with some great off blocker defensive plays. I love seeing a pin hitter take that part of their job seriously and do it really well. Ratajczak plays with a really high motor and knows how to give her game a full-send.

Inman plays some great heads-up off-blocker defense that kept their team in rallies. She can play six rotations and her smooth play makes her appear much more experienced. Inman can attack from anywhere and has the tools to play at the next level.

Utecht thrives under pressure and I saw her play in multiple high pressure matches this season. She keeps her serve tough and her defense has been looking studly. That is probably the part of her game that has come the farthest this fall. Utecht has no problem hitting over most blockers with not only natural length but explosive power in her jump.

Coequyt is a lefty that can really create magic when she gets going. She exposes the split when a blocker is late or floats on the block. Coequyt also uses a smart tip just over the block or speeds up her armswing to beat the opposing block.

Shank is a smart attacker and she does not hesitate to go after the high hands of the block. She is also solid in serve receive making her a great candidate as a 6 rotation pin. Shank anticipates and reads the play on the other side of the net well in order to help her on defense.
