Utecht thrives under pressure and I saw her play in multiple high pressure matches this season. She keeps her serve tough and her defense has been looking studly. That is probably the part of her game that has come the farthest this fall. Utecht has no problem hitting over most blockers with not only natural length but explosive power in her jump.

Utecht was showing a great aptitude for adapting as the match went on. This match forced her to use more tools than I think she’s had to use in a while. One of the most impressive things about Utecht is that even though it might have been super tense she just wasn’t making errors and kept pushing the opposing defense.

Utecht has the ability to hit a variety of angles with power and it makes her so efficient as an attacker. She has a lot of favorable intangibles including how she moves, positive body language, and her interactions with teammates. Utecht is a scoring threat from anywhere on the court and helps make Lakeville South a contender this season.

Elleora plays with some of the best vision and maturity that I saw in this division. She was smart and savvy yet so insanely powerful. It is honestly hard to believe she is only 15. She adjusted well to the blocks in front of her and was always ready to manufacture points. She had some of the biggest power in the 15s division, and she was key to her team’s 2nd place finish.

Utecht was finding her stride and really ripping the ball off the block. She was slicing the ball inside the block over and over. Utecht was also really lethal from the backrow.

Utecht is one of the top pins in the 2027 class. She was been a key player for Lights in their AAU 14 Open Championship last year. Utecht has added a couple inches in length and even more in her vertical. She does a great job of using the opposing block to score as well as finding the deep edges for instant points.
