[player_tooltip player_id='753174' first='Grace' last='Hargrove'], 5'8”, OH/S, Maize South, '29 (Shockwave 14-2)

Hargrove was my favorite athlete to watch in the four matches I scouted. She is a six-rotation talent that is fast and can do it all on the court. She had a team-high eight kills for Shockwave. She also recorded seven digs, four assists, and three serve receptions. I will go out on a limb and prognosticate that she could be ranked in the Top 20 in the initial Kansas Class of 2029 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='753175' first='Lola' last='Horsch'], 5'8”, OH/S, Maize South, '29 (Shockwave 14-2)

Horsch had a solid game for Shockwave. She collected five digs, three serve receptions, one kill, and two aces. She is taller than your average libero. It will be interesting if she continues to play that position or transitions to a hitter or a defensive specialist. She has a heavy serve which adds to her stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='753176' first='Ceci' last='Meier'], 5'8”, OH/S, Kapuan Mt. Carmel, '29 (Shockwave 14-2)

Meier is expected to attend Kapaun Mt. Carmel. She can play a variety of positions and I would guess will have a shot to play varsity as a freshman. She finished the match against Legacy with four assists, three kills, five serve receptions, and two digs. She has a quick first step and plays a fast game. The key issue for her is what position she slots in down the road. She can be a six-rotation athlete and plugged in anywhere in a lineup.

[player_tooltip player_id='753177' first='Fiona' last='Pauly'], 5'11”, MB, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, '29 (Shockwave 14-2)

Pauly was one of the most impressive front-row players on the day. She has a big reach and has the tools to be one heck of a blocker in the future. Like all young talent, I would tell her not to be afraid to get into the weight room, if she truly wants to dominate at the net. She also plays excellent defense for her size, and she might not be done growing. She finished the match with two kills, two digs, and nine serve receptions.

[player_tooltip player_id='753180' first='Jolie' last='Tucker'], 5'7”, MB/OH, Circle, '29 ([program_tooltip program_id='428899' first='Wichita' last='Legacy'] 14-2)

Tucker stood out as a raw talent on the Legacy squad. I was sitting on the opposite end of her side of the court she played on, so it was tough to hone in on her and keep stats. She had a couple of blocks and kills. Her reach and jumping ability is what will set her apart down the road. She has an older sister playing high school ball at Circle, so you can imagine the kind of competition she can thrive on.
