Minnesota Slam 15U Championship Impact Players

<p>This weekend was full of awesome plays, especially in the championship match between Iowa One 15U Angela and [program_tooltip program_id='431922' first='Xtreme' last='VBC'] 15 Adidas. These girls were on fire and though it was over in two sets, they worked hard through both sets with Iowa One 15U Angela coming out on top. Pries is super quick and has excellent footwork. She has a great platform and is smooth when getting under the ball. She is a cool customer who controls the back row when in a tough spot. She has huge hands for big blocks and is effective at the net. She is an exciting athlete to watch play against other big hitters and blockers. She has swift reflexes and a high volleyball IQ for what is coming back at her following an offensive move against her opponents. She is great at covering the ball after it is blocked by an opponent over the net.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='740884' first='Avalyn' last='Hendrickson']</h2>   <p>Hendrickson is a 6' middle blocker for [program_tooltip program_id='431922' first='Xtreme' last='VBC'] 15 Adidas from West Salem High School. She has huge hands, great blocks, and great timing. She was killing it at the net causing some back-and-forth plays with the score going up and down point after point for part of the second set. Exchanging points like that did not secure the championship for Xtreme, but it sure made it exciting to watch to see who would go on a run to the end. This athlete has great hands and she can spin on a dime and hit hard! She will be setting her hitter with aplomb and moving the ball around with speed and accuracy, hitting a kill herself, or throwing the ball down in no-mans-land. This makes her super hard to defend and I am sure causes some panic on the other side of the net until her opponent gets her coverage figured out. This athlete is super fast and athletic making her an amazing resource on the court. She is great at digging under her hitters at the net following a block by her opponents. Graff is another super athletic defensive specialist for the Iowa team that looks superb today in the championship bracket. She is really fast, has a high volleyball IQ, and can rack up aces with every serve. She was integral in their win over MWP 15 Purple with her ace serves and saves in the back row. </p>
