Waverly-Shell Rock catches your attention with its collection of loud and powerful attackers. The Go-Hawks get to that offense with sound transition defense out of the back row. That’s where Pries comes in. The junior ranked second on the squad in digs entering the postseason. I scouted her at the team’s home tournament earlier this month and saw a performer with a sound platform utilizing sharp technique in passing. Pries looked proficient in serve-receive and did well in communicating with teammates in making sure they were on the same page.

The 2028 libero caught my attention well before she passed the ball.  I noticed her voice. She is the libero who is able to communicate first. She is able to call out exactly what is going on with the other side of the net, she is calling out who the ball is going to, and she is able to anticipate who is going on with everything that is happening.  Then she is able to anticipate the ball and pass it on a dime.  Iowa One 16 Angela is a really clean squad who is able to terminate especially while they are in system.

Regan Pries Regan Pries 5'4" | DS/L/OH Waverly-Shell Rock | 2028 IA was a a major spark for Iowa One enroute to their 15s title at the Minnesota Slam.  The all around ball control for this team was really solid where they were always putting pressure on the other side of the net with two to three attacker options.  Pries anticipates well, is able to adjust her platform angle, and is always connecting with her teammates providing key leadership on the court.
