Sophia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings but that is only because they have not been released for her state yet. She plays volleyball for Seacrest Country Day High School and also plays club for the Florida Gulfside volleyball program. Miss Baron stood out for many reasons at the showcase but the number one aspect that caught my eye was her explosiveness. I walked by her court at one point during the evening right as she was rising up to swing and the boom that I heard from her hand contact made me stay a while. She does such a great job in loading up during her last two steps of her approach in order to create tons of momentum to increase her vertical. What also stood out is how she uses her entire body to add some extra pop into the swing. Like a hammer dropping down onto the ball, she really explodes downward into the ball when she makes contact. This explosiveness made us move her to an older court and she continued to make waves during the scrimmages. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award at the showcase.

Sophia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Georgia State Rankings but that is only because they have not been released for her state yet. She plays volleyball for Blessed Trinity and also plays club for the M2 volleyball program. Miss Sroka did such a great job of being a great teammate and showing her skills to everyone that tuned in. Her court coaches and scouts we had nominated her for a variety of reasons. One of them was her amazing attitude and communication skills. By being a vocal leader, she helped everyone on her court over and over to stay motivated in the scrimmage portion. When I watched her compete, she played with a great fire for both her own success and her teammates success. This is huge in both creating and keeping momentum on her team's side. As a blocker on the right side, she went up against some taller and older competition, but she did such a great job with timing her press while jumping at the net. By focusing on pressing over the net, she takes away space from the hitter and this helps to put the ball back on the opponent's side of the court. I love that at a young age she is focusing on solid fundamentals of the sport. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Naomy is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings. She plays for Mater Academy Narcoossee High School and also club for Game Point volleyball program. Miss Lucena stole the show on her team's court during the showcase for her defensive and ball control play. Her jump serves were very aggressive and low to the top of the net, which were super difficult for opposing receivers to pass. The ball floated and danced around like a knuckleball. I love how she was even ready to attack from the back row if the play was ever out of system. This shows where her focus is at all times…winning the point. Her court coach commented on the will that she possessed to keep the ball in play no matter what. We saw it with her pursuit of the ball on numerous occasions in which she had no regard for her safety by sprawling out on the floor and saving the point from scoring. We will keep our eye on her to check in on her progress as a libero moving forward and you should also. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
