Quite a few players went from being listed on the Watch List to being added to the Rankings List. We are so proud of each and every player who is listed. This series of articles is to introduce them to our readers and every college coach in the country. We have been watching the 2026 class very closely throughout the entire high school season and now halfway through the club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Please officially welcome Miss Jacobus to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 123rd best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Lake Highlands High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last=''] volleyball club program. Miss Jacobus is an outstanding recruit who has some crazy hops and hang time that she uses to attack at a very high level. Her offensive arsenal is very vast from both the front row and the back row. There is no doubt that she can play at the next level and deserves some looks from recruiters. She can play as an OH1 or OH2 in any system because of her outstanding ball control out of serve receive. Having her in the back row is like having another libero or defensive specialist without having to sub out for it. This young lady can flat out pass and dig the ball with the best of them. Her setter is always in system when she touches the ball. Another aspect that stands out is how she is able to use her hands to dig balls that are attacked higher than normal. We love what she brings to the table and you will also if you give her a look. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Please officially welcome Miss Carpenter to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 133rd best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for La Vernia High School and also for the [program_tooltip program_id='510823' first='South' last='Texas Volleyball Academy'] program. Recently she chose to commit to playing at Texas State University and we couldn't be more proud. We talk a lot about court vision and focus, but when you watch Miss Carpenter play in the back row on defense, you can see exactly what we mean by the terms. She knows her role and plays it to perfection on her squad. Hard driven balls look like they are nothing to her as she creates a solid angle and rebounds it perfectly to her setter with a soft touch. There is no doubt that she will excel at the next level and add to Texas State's ball control immediately when she steps food on campus. Her footwork and posture is impeccable and should be attributed to great coaching and even better training on her part. One of the best aspects of her defense is how she does not allow her posture to raise when the ball is deflected off of the block or tipped by the hitter. This even weight distribution makes her super fast when she is pushing off to change direction for the ball. We are happy to have her listed on our publication. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our State Rankings. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Please welcome Miss Edgington officially to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 141st best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Rockwall High School and also for the Dallas Skyline volleyball club. Miss Edgington is one of the talented setters in her club squad's 6-2 offense. She specializes in feeding the middle and pushing a very fast tempo to the pins. I love how she is bringing her left side around for second tempo routes from the middle. She really understands how to keep a defense off-balance with her set distribution. I have watched her thread the needle to her hitters and they feed off of her location. Running the middle out of defensive transition tells me that she is ready for the fast pace of the college game now. With form/technique like hers, as a coach, you can spend more of your time talking about strategy/leadership. I think this young lady is someone who can lead any kind of system and make a squad better. If you haven't seen her by now, I highly recommend that you stop by her court at some point this season. You will not be disappointed in what you find. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas. </p>
