Outside Hitter Breakdown From Spring 2027 Rankings

[player_tooltip player_id='442987' first='Kate' last='Kalczynski'], Mercy/Legacy: </strong>A 6'1 hitter that has great accuracy and a dynamic set of attacks, Kalczynski is definitely one of the best finishers in this class nationally, and still has plenty of room to grow.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2. [player_tooltip player_id='467901' first='Mallory' last='Wandel'], Rockford/MVA: </strong>A player that has taken big jumps in her game, Wandel is a physical hitter that delivers a lot of power, but also can be a difference maker with her defensive play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>3. [player_tooltip player_id='442982' first='Grace' last='Goodyke'], GR Christian/FaR Out: </strong>Goodyke has taken on a big workload from the start of her high school career and has proven she has all the skills to be an elite six-rotation outside. [player_tooltip player_id='462086' first='Mallory' last='Woiteshek'], Grand Haven/MVA: </strong>The 6'3” Whoiteshek has a big wing span and the ability to hang off the floor, so she can tower over blockers and deliver a punishing attack. [player_tooltip player_id='470031' first='Avery' last='Kapeller'], OLSM/High Performance: </strong>A rising star in the class, Kapeller has proven she can put the ball away against any competition. She's consistent in her intensity, and has the athleticism and footwork to be great.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Others To Watch</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'], Garber/Michigan Elite: </strong>Another long player that has the ability to dominate a match, Lenhard shows a great mixture of power and offspeed swings, while showing great court awareness.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='455952' first='Sofie' last='Williams'], OH Oakland Christian/Legacy: </strong>A hard-working outside that puts a big pounding on the ball, Williams has the ability to take over in Division 4 while still proving she can hang with the best hitters in the state.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='459740' first='Aubrey' last='Reynolds'], Caledonia/MVA: </strong>Reynolds is a well-rounded talent that makes top-level defensive plays to go along with the attack. She is able to shine in both areas thanks to her footwork and alertness.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523870' first='Delaynee' last='Witbeck'], Frankenmuth/Five:1: </strong>Witbeck is showing improvement in her transition from defense to offense, and vice versa. Her swing has a good follow-through, and she's doing a great job of high-pointing the ball this club season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='513265' first='Anna' last='Overway'], Plainwell/Dead Frog: </strong>Overway has put in the work to elevate her play. She's showing an improved finishing rate over the last year, but is dedicated to making herself a better defender as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
