With a lot of potent hitters already emerging in the Class of 2027, it's important to keep an eye on some others that still have the potential to breakthrough a crowded pack.   Here's a look at six outsides that could be in store for a big momentum swing over the next two years once they get more opportunities to shine. She plays well above the net and can cover a lot of space in the front to be a dominant force offensively. She's surrounded by other top 2027 outsides at Marian, so she will need to make the most out of her opportunities, but the battles in practice should help push her game to another level in the years to come.     [player_tooltip player_id='490381' first='Caylin' last='Lindsay'] has already gotten a lot of good reps at the varsity level against top talent, so she looks calm and comfortable on the court. This club season, she's showing a variety of swings from both pins to be a consistent finisher. She looks comfortable transitioning from offense to defense and learns from her mistakes.     [player_tooltip player_id='442977' first='Demi' last='McCoy'] is a prospect that has shown a lot of explosiveness at some of our Expo events. It's clear that she has the ability to be a dominant hitter on the pin, is just going to have to be patient in waiting for an opportunity to get more swings in the years ahead. She's part of a talented DCD program that's hard to move up the ladder, but still provides a great opportunity to improve. With her quickness and athleticism, her growth as a player should be great in the next year. She's got another gear in the closing moments of her swing that powers the ball through defenders. Already with the potent delivery, Musial looks like she can still make improvements with her footwork and timing, which means her finishing ability may get even scarier for opponents over the next year. With SMCC being a veteran squad this fall, it will be graduating a number of key players and open the door for players like Ruhlig to make an impact. The nearly 6-foot outside has shown she can play anywhere along the net and finish points. She's got a good feel for the play and plays with a lot of instinct.     Already one of the stronger hitters in Division 4, [player_tooltip player_id='455952' first='Sofie' last='Williams'] is putting in a lot of work in the club season to elevate her play as one of the best in all of the Class of 2027. Williams is doing a nice job of improving her all-around play and showing good court awareness. Though she has a smooth and potent swing, she's able to recognize when to go offspeed or adjust her attack angles.
