The girls basketball season is heading down the final quarter pole to the State Tournament.

Rankings updates for all three senior classes on the Prep Redzone, Prep Dig, and Prep Girls Hoops websites are under construction.

I contacted a significant number of college coaches this past week and have heard back from a handful.

As I work on the final Kansas Class of 2025 rankings, I have received notification of five more committed Kansas athletes, bringing the total to 71 ranked athletes expected to arrive on college campuses next fall to compete on the volleyball court.

I also know of at least two JUCO programs looking to add to their 2025 class and will be sharing names with those programs of uncommitted prospects I still know of.

Coaches, athletes, and parents are encouraged to reach out to me via email or on X with updates on college signings or if they would like me to pass their name on to programs still looking for athletes.

Here is a quick look at five athletes who have committed to Kansas college programs, including three headed to Concordia to compete for Cloud County Community College.

[player_tooltip player_id='755912' first='Brooklyn' last='Morrisey'], 5'10”, MB, Shawnee Mission West, '25 (Washburn)

Morrisey has committed to play for the Washburn Ichabods, who have constructed a deep and talented group of Kansas signees. Morrisey is an athlete I have not seen play, and the Vikings did not post public stats from last season. She did record 135 kills and 37 blocks during her junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='515151' first='Zoey' last='Sudbeck'], 5'7”, OH, Nemaha Central, '25 (Cloud County CC)

This is a signing that I am super excited about. Sudbeck is an athlete I have seen compete multiple times, and the first couple of times I talked to her about her interest in college, she was on the fence and did not have any offers at the time. She finished second on the Thunder in kills with 204 during her senior season. She can really elevate and probably would have garnered Division II offers if she was a couple of inches taller. She is one of three athletes in this report who have committed to play for Cloud County. Sudbeck had 156 total blocks the past two seasons and recorded 80 as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='515147' first='Elizabeth' last='Schuster'], 6'0”, MB, Holton, '25 (Cloud County CC)

Schuster also finished second on her high school team as a senior. I saw the Holton prospect play a couple of times last season. She has a long reach and is a physical threat at the net. She recorded 299 kills and 81 blocks. Over her past two seasons, she collected 158 blocks and 537 kills. Schuster and Sudbeck played against each other in high school but will now be teammates for the Thunderbirds.

[player_tooltip player_id='755911' first='Kenadie' last='Casanova'], 5'9”, RS, Derby, '25 (Cloud County CC)

Casanova is a raw talent who can provide Cloud with some hitting depth. Her numbers won't pop out at scouts. She finished he senior season 60 kills and 23 blocks. She was never the primary attack option with the Panthers. She is quick and athletic. She will be willing to grind and put in the work it takes to fight for playing time.

[player_tooltip player_id='714709' first='Tailyn' last='Kadavy'], 6'0”, OH, Rock Creek, '25 (Highland CC)

Rock Creek finished second in the Class 4A State Tournament last season. Kadavy was a role player on the squad. and she parlayed a strong senior season into an offer from Highland Community College. She finished her senior season with 154 kills in 91 sets after recording 180 kills as a junior. She can help out on defense as she registered back-to-back seasons with 100-plus digs.
