Now, it's time to take a closer look at each position. Right sides aren't always prominent in rankings, but the Class of 2026 has some excellent ones that deserve their spotlight.

Top 5 Right Sides

1. [player_tooltip player_id='523816' first='Riley' last='Copenhaver'], Brighton/Legacy: This Duke commit can play the right side or the middle and at 6'1”, is an imposing figure at the net. She's explosive and quick, and can hammer the ball with authority.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='226876' first='Finley' last='Arp'], South Christian/FaR Out: A Grand Valley commit, Arp has been capable of being a dominant hitter anywhere along the net, but her right side ability is what really stands out. She plays great attack angles and is very consistent in her productivity.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='226895' first='Jillian' last='Ferrill'], Lake Fenton/Legacy: The Illinois State commit is more of a utility option than a right side. She can play nearly every position on the floor, including setter. Her well-rounded play and agility makes her a great college prospect

4. [player_tooltip player_id='226894' first='Gina' last='Fedrigo'], Eisenhower/Legacy: The FIU commit is a powerful arm that can put the ball down with as much velocity as anyone. She has a knack at coming through with a crucial kill or block to shift the momentum in a match.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='490350' first='Maddie' last='Jipping'], Hamilton/FaR Out: An Oakland commit, Jipping can make herself long and deliver the ball at tough attack angles with her left-handed swing. She's shown good improvement in her timing and follow through.

Others To Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='591756' first='Maddie' last='Russell'], Mona Shores/Inside Out: Russell is a 6'2” hitter that can seemingly float in the air to wait on a swing. That allows her to generate power and adjust the ball away from the blocks very well.

[player_tooltip player_id='490361' first='Aleah' last='Brackett'], Bronson/Empowered: Brackett is a dynamic player that has proven to be a potent hitter, but is also looking to make her way as a setter during the club season. Her athleticism and court IQ allow her to be an impact player at either position.

[player_tooltip player_id='732270' first='Cienna' last='Nightingale'], Mendon/Dead Frog: Nightingale puts as much work into her defensive play as she does her attacks, making her a valuable option for any roster. Her left-handed attacks show good form and velocity, and she moves very well around the court to make difficult digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='550458' first='Violet' last='Hollister'], Schoolcraft/Dead Frog: Hollister is a scrappy player that adjusts well to the play and likes to battle at net, both offensively and defensively. No matter what the tempo of play is, Hollister does her best to put a good touch on the ball each time it comes her way.
