On top of that, she has no problem stepping up to make clutch out-of-system sets that keep plays alive. Her biggest strength? Court vision. Mieka reads the game like a book—always in the right spot, ready before anyone else moves. She's currently playing all six rotations, adding solid right-back defense to her game and showcasing a strong jump serve that's racked up numerous aces this season. The Desert Oasis High School JV standout also shines in the back row with the grit of a defensive specialist, steps into the opposite hitter role when needed, and delivers a solid, reliable serve. Balancing it all with a 3.8 GPA, Mia is the definition of a student-athlete on the rise. Whether it's crushing a quick set or adjusting mid-air to make a play, Shaliyah is always on the move, ready to put the ball down with authority.
