If there's one tournament you cannot afford to miss next year, it's the Grand Prix. Sanford-Sioux Falls brought the heat with over 170 teams battling it out all weekend long. The talent on display from across the Midwest was absolutely elite, proving that the heart of volleyball is thriving right here in the region. The intensity, skill, and sheer energy on the courts made it clear: Midwest volleyball is on the rise, and you won't want to miss the action next year!

So, who stole the spotlight today? Who made waves and caught our attention? Who's climbing the ranks and turning heads with college coaches? Let's break down the standout players and rising stars that are making a mark and grabbing the spotlight on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='751289' first='Jaylah' last='Jones'] is a hard-working player who never gives up, no matter the situation. Her tenacity on the court is evident every time she steps in, always giving 100% effort, even when the game gets tough. Jaylah's relentless work ethic makes her a force to be reckoned with.

[player_tooltip player_id='728798' first='Harper' last='Odden'] is a standout setter with a remarkable ability to control the game, especially for a player her age. She brings an unmatched level of hustle to the court, consistently moving and making plays to keep the offense flowing. Harper's court awareness is impressive; she has an innate ability to read the opposing defense and adjust her sets accordingly.

[player_tooltip player_id='752363' first='Kinnley' last='Lammer'] a younger outside hitter, impressed throughout the tournament with her raw talent and potential. Despite her age, Kinnley's ability to compete at a high level was undeniable. She has a natural athleticism that allows her to quickly cover the court and make key plays. Her approach is strong, and she hits with impressive power, especially for a player of her age. Kinnley demonstrates great court awareness, knowing when to swing hard or place the ball strategically for a smart shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='732313' first='Karlie' last='Wagner'] had an outstanding tournament and certainly caught the attention of those in attendance. As an outside hitter, Karlie displayed exceptional skill with her ability to hit powerful line shots, often placing them just out of the defender's reach. Her approach is smooth and explosive, and she can generate impressive power while maintaining control of the ball. What really stood out was her court awareness—she knows when to unload on a hard attack and when to mix it up with a smart tip or deep shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='733422' first='Brietta' last='Tims'] had an incredible tournament and proved why she's committed to the University of Duluth. As an outside hitter, Brietta showcased her impressive power and versatility at the net, consistently delivering strong attacks. Her ability to mix up her shots, from crushing line shots to smart tips, kept the defense guessing and on their heels. Brietta's high vertical jump and strong approach made her a dominant presence in the front row, and she was able to finish plays with authority.

[player_tooltip player_id='728032' first='Logan' last='McGuire'] had an outstanding tournament, showcasing her exceptional skills as a setter. At just 15 years old, Logan displayed remarkable court awareness and a strong understanding of the game. She ran the offense with precision, distributing the ball efficiently to her hitters and making smart decisions under pressure. Her quick feet and ability to move around the court allowed her to create opportunities for her team while keeping the defense on its toes.

[player_tooltip player_id='736781' first='Bostynn' last='Evenson'] impressed all weekend long with her dominant performance at the net. As a 15-year-old middle hitter, her blocking was next-level. She has an incredible ability to read hitters and make quick, decisive moves to shut down attacks. Whether it was covering tips or stopping powerful swings, Bostynn was a wall on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='733931' first='Elsa' last='Basel'] had an outstanding tournament and really stood out on the court. As a 15-year-old middle hitter, she plays with a maturity and composure that belies her age. Her blocking was exceptional, effectively shutting down opposing attacks and dominating the net. Elsa's quick reactions and ability to move side to side made her a key factor in her team's defense. Offensively, her powerful swing from the middle created serious challenges for defenders.

As we close out this incredible weekend at the Grand Prix, it's clear that the talent and energy showcased by all the players were unmatched. From intense matches to standout performances, it's evident that the future of volleyball in the Midwest is bright. The hard work, dedication, and skill on display were truly inspiring, and it's no wonder that college coaches had their eyes on these up-and-coming stars. Whether you're a coach, player, or fan, this tournament is one that should be on your radar for years to come. With the level of competition only getting higher, the next Grand Prix will surely be even bigger and better.
