It wasn't an easy road, as Michigan Elite showed a lot of grit by winning a pair of three-set battles to close out the event and take home the title.

Here's a look at some of the players that stood out for the team on film.

[player_tooltip player_id='458372' first='Jeana' last='Lenhard'], OH

Lenhard continued her breakout year of volleyball by being a dominant hitter for many stretches of the weekend. She racked up double-digit kills in multiple matches. Lenhard is able to place the ball all over the court while still challenging defenders each attempt. Her defense is crisp as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='454366' first='Jordyn' last='Jones'], OH

When Lenhard wasn't putting the ball down on the outside, Jones was handling it. The extremely explosive outside gets so much elevation off the floor. She's able to generate great power with her technically sound, but aggressive swing. Jones also moves really well defensively, showing she can be a complete player.

[player_tooltip player_id='454358' first='Lily' last='Tripi'], S

Tripi ran the offense and had all of her hitters coming through with powerful kills. She's able to adjust herself really well during scrambles, still getting off good sets even when she has to get low to the ground. Tripi also has a keen eye to know when to call her own number, and was also part of the big blocking effort the team had this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='526729' first='Elizabeth' last='Nordstrom'], MH

All the Michigan Elite middles had their moment in the sun this weekend, but Nordstrom showed the widest array of shots and placement. She had great footwork along the net to stay ahead of the defense, and was also staying aggressive and alert with her defensive play.

[player_tooltip player_id='442971' first='Brenna' last='Mirovsky'], L

Mirovsky brought great energy to the court and her teammates were able to feed off it. Throughout the weekend, Mirovsky was tallying big dig numbers and coming through with a timely play to keep Michigan Elite in control of a match. She also was reliable from the service line, putting together some great service runs.

[player_tooltip player_id='442978' first='Eleanor' last='Williams'], RS

Williams was a great complement to the Michigan Elite offense with her powerful left-handed arm. She was finishing at a high rate and showing she can make aggressive attack lines. Williams was also a key blocker for the squad, coming through with a lot of key stuffs during the weekend.
