Salt Lake City Showdown Showcase Top Performers Vol 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Salt Lake City Showdown Showcase is run in conjunction with the SLC Showdown National Qualifier on April 4^th and April 10^th.  It is being held at the Salt Palace Convention Center and is also live streamed via BallerTV.  There were tons of amazing athletes from all over the nation who were giving their all in both the positional drills and also the team scrimmages.  Let's take a look at all of the athletes who earned a Top Performer award for their individual play at the showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Alexis is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List.  She plays volleyball for Granada Hills Charter High School and also plays for the LAVA North volleyball club program.  Many of our coaches remarked at just how beautiful of an approach Miss Cuan takes as she attacks.  She uses a long and swooping takeoff to help her gain every inch she can in her vertical and it pays dividends as she can fly.  Armed with a lightning quick arm swing that is very difficult for the eye to pick up as it explodes downward to exert force onto the ball.  What makes her unique is that she can play on either pin and crank the ball to all locations.  She has no trouble letting the ball cross all the way to her hitting shoulder on the right side in order to score down the line.  This is not an easy task as it can really take some great timing, but she makes it look so smooth.  During the scrimmage portion of the event, she was scoring at will and providing a lot of firepower for her squad.  It was a no-brainer to add her to the list of deserving athletes to win this award due to her electric performance.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.</p> <!-- Prep Dig Washington State Rankings.  She plays volleyball for Richland High School and also plays for the Club Gold volleyball program.  As a defensive specialist/libero, Miss Langdon was moving around the court with a purpose all night with her super fast footwork.  That kind of foot speed will translate very well at the next level as the game gets a lot faster pace.  There was not a pass or dig that she could not track down all night.  Her quickness was even a huge factor on the defensive end out of the right back zone as well.  Speaking of defense, her court coach mentioned that they loved how she read the hitter on the opposite side of the court prior to them making contact with the ball.  This really helped her to notice tips and off-speed shots earlier and abled her to set up for them more efficiently.  As a setter, she did a great job of moving the ball around to all of the hitters that were on her court.  We really loved that she decided to join the showcase.  Please Dig Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List.  She plays volleyball for Rock Hill High School and also plays for the Dallas Summit volleyball club program.  We know of Miss Bennett very well at Prep Dig as she has attended our showcases before and stood out to her court coaches and scouts.  One aspect of her game that stands out to everyone watching is just how active she is on the court.  Once the pass is complete, she doesn't just stand around watching the play develop.  She truly understands her role in hitter coverage and her teammates can swing with confidence because they know that she will always be in proper position to play the ball in case it gets blocked.  The angles that she creates with her platform are precise and the ball is always directed towards her setter.  One thing is for sure…Madi will always have a strong relentless pursuit of the ball as she gives her all to keep it from hitting the floor.  We think she deserves a few looks even thought she is only a freshman.  We will be keeping our eye on her as she continues to progress in the libero position.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this
