Elrod (pictured) has great instincts on the court and they help both the 17 Blue and high school teams. She reacts quickly to balls to keep plays alive on defense. Then she's a force on offense mixing up the right kind of arm swings and speed to hit balls off blockers and away from sound defenders. Elrod consistently makes things happen from the pins. Elrod had 293 kills and 218 digs last fall, helping South Warren go 21-12 and make it to the 4th Region Tournament.

McIntosh commands some attention in the middle for the Cougars. She can tip balls shallow to catch teams off-guard. McIntosh has good placement with harder hits. She can be tough if she improves her arm swings to run quicker attacks. McIntosh had 110 kills in the fall, helping the Cougars go 20-15, win another 13th District title and drive to the 4th Region semifinals.

Lich does a great job with space at the net finding ways to hit balls off blockers for points. She can also find holes on overpassed balls. Lich continues to improve as the season progresses. Lich had 140 kills and 165 digs for the Cats this past fall.

Bonner does a good job making things happen all over the court from first passes to solid swings. Bonner puts the right amount of arm speed on hits to push balls off defenders if not send them to the back row where defenders can not play them. Bonner makes sound swings from the back row when the team is out of system. Bonner is also a nice server for the Bonner had 173 kills, 185 digs and 70 aces to help Franklin-Simpson go 17-12 this past season.
