Iowa 2026s Showing Out for Scouts on Club Circuit

Her presence is a main reason why they've remained successful during the last few years. Back-row success stems from limiting mistakes while consistently under attack. Lei-Butters doesn't always make the play but she makes more than most. Despite her reputation leading to opponents avoiding her, she still came up with 367 digs last season in helping Centennial back to the state tournament. Lei-Butters operates with quick feet and reflexes. She's carried that outstanding success into the club season, where she patrols the middle of the net for the Iowa regional champs. Baumgardner looks the part from a physical standpoint with her height and long arms. She's athletic, explosive and powerful, which leads to a healthy attack. Her versatility allows her to contribute wherever she's needed on the court. While Harland does her best work at the pin, she also holds up well in the back row and defends at the net. As a junior, she helped Mid-Prairie reach the Class 3A state tournament by contributing 159 kills (.240), 116 digs and 28 blocks. Manternach represented the junior class very well, however. She delivered 208 kills (.358) and 91.0 blocks. Expect Manternach to be one of the River Valley Conference's best in 2025. She's carried over her stellar 11th-grade campaign to club ball. Adrenaline finished seventh in a deep and talented 17U Division at the Iowa Regional with Manternach being a key performer as a two-way middle. The junior cranked out a team-best 225 kills and ranked second on the squad with 251 digs. She's transitioned into club season as a defensive specialist for the state's regional champions. Colleges are scouting her for a future in the back row. Greenfield moves well laterally with a good feel for the flow of the play. She's taken her game forward this club campaign by becoming more consistent. It should lead to her being given more responsibility for the Lions in 2025. Schaefer is strong in serve-receive, reading the ball well and getting in the proper position for delivering pin-point passes. Schaefer covers a lot of ground and makes good decisions playing off of her teammates. Linn-Mar is replacing a lot of production to graduation after last year, and Schaefer will be needed to keep the train running. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
