Randol continues to do a good job of mixing up her sets to get a number of hitters involved, including the back sets. She is a sound leader on the court for the UA 16 Green squad. However, she is also taking some solid swings for the team. That could come in handy for the Jaguars in the fall. Randol said more versatility makes the team stay more consistent and gain more energy.

McCarty is turning into a nice six-rotation player for the 16-1 team. She does a great job hustling after balls and brings a lot of energy to the court. McCarty does a variety of sets including the back set and is working on her setter dump. On defense, she gets up on blocks trying to disrupt plays at the net and hustles after balls on defense. She does need some work on her one sets, but is putting in the effort to improve daily.

Richardson consistently moves well on her feet, only diving when necessary. Richardson has good form on her passes. Her ball control needs some improvement, but it will come against the competition the 15 Elite team is facing. Richardson also has a sound line drive serve. Richardson said her mindset is she can get it up, adding she tries to stay very focused on each play.

Smith is a sound passer for the 55 Elite team. She has good ball control only sliding or diving when needed. Smith squares up balls well and does a great job protecting the net. Smith said it's a matter of being confident in herself and her teammates when asked about sound first passes.

Brooks (pictured) definitely flew under the radar during the 2024 season for the Generals. She does a good job getting her feet in position for good sets. She is also a sound passer and sends sound line drive serves to the back row. Brooks could improve her speed, but that will come with more repetitions. Brooks had 292 assists and 173 digs for the Generals this past fall.
