Lone Star Regionals 15 Bid Division Standout Liberos

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Club teams from all over Texas were in Houston this past weekend, competing in one of the largest and most anticipated tournaments of the season, the Lone Star Regionals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over 650 teams got on the court between Saturday and Sunday at the George R Brown Convention Center, with clubs competing in 20 divisions, featuring players from the 11s to the 17s age groups.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig Texas followed closely the Gold Bracket matches of the 15 Bid Division, and we're now highlighting some of the most impressive players we got to watch. She played a key role in the team, passing with tremendous efficiency and allowing their offense to operate at full power the entire time. Sundbeck got to cover half of the court and was incredibly reliable. She also made some nice offensive plays, displaying excellent reflexes and superior ball control. An extremely technical player, she was very precise and efficient every time she touched the ball in the backcourt. Ryan had a big role in her team's serve-receive system and delivered great passes to her setter. The libero was electric when playing defense and got to swings that not many other players would, thanks to her excellent reflexes. She was one of the best pure defenders in the division and made a difference for her team in the backcourt with her excellent production. Saenz was impeccable with her positioning and got to touch on several balls, managing to control most of them and giving his team another chance to score. The libero displayed excellent defensive potential, using her agility to get to tips and her ball control to dig hard-driven swings. Wilson also had a prominent role in the team's serve-receive system, covering a large area of the court and using her technique to keep the team in system.
