Addison Wilson Addison Wilson DS TX , a Class of 2028 libero and defensive specialist from Bay Area Christian School and Houston Skyline Volleyball Club, is a quietly consistent back row performer who makes a strong case for herself every time she steps on the court by simply doing the job the position demands and doing it well. Her serve receive is steady and accurate, keeping her offense in system on a high percentage of contacts rather than forcing her setter to work out of trouble on a regular basis. She tracks the ball well in transition defense and arrives in position with her platform ready rather than improvising under pressure, which is a technical quality that tells you the repetitions she has put in have produced real muscle memory rather than situational responses. At 5’5″ she covers the floor efficiently and competes with the back-row-first mentality that coaches at every level want from the player wearing the libero jersey. She is a 2028 prospect whose reliability and technical foundation deserve a wider recruiting audience. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.

Wilson played for the Houston Skyline 16 Black team that ended up in 15th place with a campaign of four wins and four losses. She had a central role in the team’s serve-receive system, taking up the largest portion of the court and quickly moving to the ball to deliver accurate passes to her setter. Wilson’s mobility was also a huge asset on defense, as she was very quick to get to tips and deflected shots. The libero’s ball control also came in handy when she was asked to set in transition, as she was consistently able to get the ball in good locations to her hitters.
