–

It's been nearly 2 months to the date since we've had a commitment catch-up. And boy have the commitments been coming in like wild fire.

We've seen stars from the 25 and 26 class find their place in the last 2 months. It looks to be a preview to what should be an electrifying summer with a stud 2027 class' June 15th date on the horizon. As the club season comes to a close, i wouldn't be shocked to see even more news come out from the 26 group as well.

This next installment is heavy with the late 2025s and a hint of some high key 2026 commitments. Let's take a look.

[player_tooltip player_id='222698' first='Ashton' last='Ehle'] to Northwood University

5'9 OH - Ovid-Elsie

This player may have fallen under the statewide radar throughout the last few years, but in the last few months has really come into her own. [player_tooltip player_id='222698' first='Ashton' last='Ehle'] quickly became one of the more respected hitters in the high school game this fall.

As quick as her game has grown was as quick as she has found her spot at the next level. Ehle has recently announced her commitment to Northwood University. As one of the stronger Division II programs in the state, mixed with Ehle's upward trajectory, this is an exciting commitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='727732' first='Larkin' last='Pham'] to North Greenville University

5'8 OH - Dexter/High Intensity

Another player who has become an exciting player in the last several months, [player_tooltip player_id='727732' first='Larkin' last='Pham'] has a lot of potential. A lot of potential that has caught the eye of North Greenville University.

Pham will be taking her talents to South Carolina. As promising of a prospect as Pham has become in the last year or so, NGU could really utilize her to make a move in the Division II space. NGU has found themselves as one of the Conference Carolina leaders within the last several years.

[player_tooltip player_id='514728' first='Brooke' last='Price'] to Aquinas College

5'6 DS/L - Hudsonville/MVA

If there is any trend to take note of in the last several years, it is that Hudsonville has become consistent in producing top notch defensive talent. [player_tooltip player_id='514728' first='Brooke' last='Price'] comes from a long line of strong talent in the back court. Much like her counterpart, [player_tooltip player_id='288948' first='Lexi' last='Armstrong'], Price will look to keep her talents local, joining forces with Aquinas College.

As a future Saint, Price looks to continue the legacy that Aquinas has been building over the last several years. Her touch in the back court, is something that will surely surge this NAIA powerhouse back into national conversation.

Abbi Sells to Louisiana Tech

5'5 L - Lake Fenton/Legacy

This is another high level defensive product out of Michigan. Abbi Sells has really come into her own and become quite the player to watch. With her success on the club circuit, Sells has herself as quite the commodity at the next level.

Louisiana Tech is maybe not the destination you'd think would be the destination spot for a player like Sells looking at the volleyball side. However, LA Tech has found themselves under new leadership with new head coach Scott Mattera taking over in December. Under new guidance, and a player to Sells' caliber, LA Tech could very much see themselves in the top half of the C-USA.

[player_tooltip player_id='490335' first='Makayla' last='Bruman'] to Saginaw Valley State

5'11 S - Imlay City/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='490335' first='Makayla' last='Bruman'] has had herself well known within the high school scene for quite a few years now. As the 1-2 punch of Imlay City, Bruman can put quite the smack down on the ball, but is mostly known for her ability to control the offense. She'll look to stay close to home to let her talents grow even further.

After her first season of playing high level club, Bruman opted to play up at the 18s level and really thrived. This caught the eye of Sagina Valley, just a mere hour west of her hometown. Bruman is the perfect addition to a program who has seen their leadership take a shift in recent years.
