Muskegon Area’s Super Six 2026 Prospects

Use code “EllisDig2025” to get $10 off your registration.*</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sitting just outside the talent-rich Grand Rapids area, the Muskegon area is also home to some top-level prospects in volleyball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Class of 2026 has six players from the area that have built a reputation in Michigan and should be on everyone's radar for the year ahead.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='227707' first='Gracelynn' last='Olson'], S Fruitport/MVA</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Olson has put in a lot of work to improve her play over the years and it has shown in her development. This past fall, Olson took a big step forward with her production and leadership skills, surpassing 1,000 assists in the season for Fruitport. Her serving also took a big step forward, hitting an ace on 20 percent of her attempts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='544602' first='Olivia' last='Peterson'], S North Muskegon/Inside Out</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peterson is a confident setter that isn't afraid to be aggressive and scores a lot of kills through being able to read the defenses well. She is tough to game plan for, as she can deceive blockers well, and she does a nice job of mixing up tempos and locations for her hitters. Peterson also puts in work on her defense and serving to have an impact in all phases.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='481384' first='Nadia' last='Prieditis'], OH Grand Haven</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prieditis is a steady all-around player for Grand Haven, racking up kills and digs each time she steps on the floor. She plays a very controlled game, always available to make the smart play on offense or defense. She stays engaged during each point and sees good attack angles at the net. She can put away a back-row attack with ease, and also is reliable on serve receive.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='643759' first='Laynie' last='Russell'], MB/RS Mona Shores/MVA</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A multi-sport talent, Russell is a prospect with a lot of upside. She's 6'3” but shines with her footwork that she applies to volleyball and basketball. She makes devastating kills look rather routine from the right side or the middle, as she effortlessly skies in the air and uses her long reach. With her side-to-side ability, she's a great asset as a blocker and offensive weapon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='591756' first='Maddie' last='Russell'], RS/OH Mona Shores</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>No surprise here, as Maddie shows a lot of the same traits as Laynie, but sees mostly action on the pins. Also a multi-sport talent, the 6'2” [player_tooltip player_id='591756' first='Maddie' last='Russell'] moves smooth around the court, has great hang time, and can power through a big shot. However, Russell shows a lot of court savvy and doesn't just rely on her length and power to finish points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261172' first='Kailyn' last='Schlepp'], DS/L Spring Lake/MVA</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schlepp is a great energy player to have the in the back row. She steps on the floor and is committed to leaving it all on the court. You can never question her effort, as she's willing to throw her body around to get to every ball she can. Over the years, her instincts and timing have developed to where she's becoming more of a complete player.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
