Use code “EllisDig2025” to get $10 off your registration.*</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Oakland County has once again set its footprint in the state of Michigan for the Class of 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Along with many of the best players in the state, this group has produced some of the best in the country.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's part two of a two-part look at the top 2026 talents from Oakland County.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226899' first='Cree' last='Hollier'], MB Mercy/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hollier has proven that her 5'8” size won't keep her from being amongst the best middles in the state. Not many can match the lift she gets off the floor, and when she connects with her setter, there aren't many that can match the speed and power of her attacks. Hollier is a real momentum-swinging player that brings a lot of energy to the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226908' first='Meredith' last='Martin'], DS/L Marian/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Martin (Michigan) is a great all-around athlete that has proven she can excel as an outside, but is heading to the college level because she's one of the best defenders in the country. Martin uses her athleticism to cover a lot of space in the back row and also make very difficult digs without breaking a sweat.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'], MB Bloomfield Hills/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nwabueze (Harvard) is the top-ranked player in the class and one of the top players in the nation. For a middle, she's still very productive as a defender and server, but her explosiveness at the net can't be matched. Nwabueze has tremendous hang time to go with lightning-fast arm speed. If there's a way to stop her, nobody has figured that out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261199' first='Morgin' last='Parsley'], S WL Northern/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Parsley (Oakland) has been able to excel at multiple positions over the years, but setter is where she shines best. The 5'10” Parsley moves well around the floor to keep her offense in good position and she's been able to mix up her locations and speeds. Parsley is able to turn on the ball herself for explosive kills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226935' first='Lucy' last='Stoll'], S South Lyon/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stoll is a multi-sport athlete that is a great leader for any team she is a part of. She brings a lot of energy and encouragement to the court. As a setter, Stoll shows precise form and has been able to bring the best out of her hitters. Despite pushing a fast pace, Stoll is able to play with a lot of control and composure.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226944' first='Maya' last='Zarow'], OH Mercy/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zarow has shown the ability to come through in pressure situations. She's already developed a talented defensive game, but is adding new dimensions to her attack in terms of speed and location. Zarow is a prospect that can keep moving up the rankings as she gets more opportunities to shine.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti'], MB Marian/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zayti had an opportunity to raise her game over the last year and she did just that. With more opportunities, Zayti developed improved instincts and timing. She came through with some very timely kills and also showed gains as a blocker. Zayti is also showing she can play on the right side due to her athleticism.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
