Rankings Newbies: Six Athletes Set To Debut In May Rankings

She recorded 275 kills in 108 sets for the Stags. During her sophomore campaign, she also collected 117 digs and 55 blocks during her sophomore season. She will be expected to step up her leadership role next season and could see more attacking chances.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='733198' first='Taylor' last='Bolling'] </strong>, 5'8”, OH, Wellsville, ‘27</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wellsville will be joining the Class of 2027 rankings on May 13. During her sophomore season, she collected 203 kills in 88 sets for the Eagles. She is a six-rotation athlete in the making, finishing with 288 digs and 330 serve receptions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='724847' first='Elliot' last='Sokoloski'], </strong>5'11”, OH/MH, Olathe East, ‘28</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sokoloski will be added to the Class of 2029 rankings this month. She finished with 117 kills as a freshman for Olathe East. She has had a solid club season and should see an increased role with Olathe East as a sophomore.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='739229' first='Avery' last='Holthaus'],</strong> 5'9”, OH, Hayden, ‘28</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holthaus will be joining the Kansas Class of 2028 rankings on May 20. I saw her play club ball this season and was impressed with her game. It will be interesting to see where she fits in on the Hayden roster this fall. The Wildcats are loaded with talent in the Class of 2028.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='753177' first='Fiona' last='Pauly']</strong>, 5'11”, MB, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, '29</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It seems like an entire year ago, but I saw Pauly play this club season and was impressed with her performance. She will be included in the first rankings for the Kansas Class of 2029 on May 27. She should be an intimidating net player for years to come.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='747423' first='Zoey' last='Kincaid']</strong>, 5'9”, OH/DS, Andover Central, ‘29</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kincaid is another Wichita Area prospect who will be included in the Kansas Class of 2029 rankings. I saw her play this club season, and she proved to be a possible six-rotation athlete. She will get high-quality coaching at Andover Central and with Shockwave Volleyball, which will only help her intangibles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
