She's got very impressive hang time combined with solid awareness. Though she can deliver one of the most powerful attacks in the class, Franklin is showing that she can adjust to the defense and make the smart offspeed play when its there. She should only continue to add to her game in the years ahead.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='732307' first='Sarah' last='Giroux'], OH/MB Flat Rock/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Giroux is showing the ability to hit all the locations on the other side of the net. She's got a great mixture of speeds and shot angles. She also feeds off momentum well, being able to get on a roll once she gets started. Giroux is also improving on her defensive skills, showing the ability to come through with some timely digs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='517282' first='Allie' last='Ruhlig'], OH SMCC/LevelUp</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ruhlig is a 6-foot prospect that can be a big asset for the Kestrels moving forward. As they look for new hitters in the coming season, Ruhlig is shaping up to be a top option on the attack. She's a versatile hitter that has succeed at any spot along the net. Her impact and speed is getting better and better and that should be helping build her confidence.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='454376' first='Blair' last='Russow'], DS/L Bedford/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Russow looks more and more comfortable each match. She's shown the ability to play anywhere in the back court and keep her team's defense excelling. Russow stays light on her feet and moves well side to side to keep herself in position to make a clean pass. Russow also isn't afraid to hit the floor to keep the ball alive.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='443001' first='Zoe' last='Ryan'], S Divine Child/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ryan is a gifted setter with a lot of athleticism and energy. She pushes a fast tempo and isn't afraid to take some chances on the court, which has helped her elevate her game. Ryan puts in the time and effort to sharpen the edges of her game and it has really shown in the last year with her improved play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='456251' first='Alexa' last='Turner'], S SMCC/Athlete HQ</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Turner is in line for a big year as SMCC looks for new leadership on the floor. She's a perfect fit for the role, as she's got big-match experience and has proven the ability to excel when the pressure is on. Turner shows great awareness for her hitters and what buttons to push for the offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523871' first='Tessa' last='White'], OH Livonia Franklin</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>White has a lot of consistency with her attacks and swing speed. She's done a great job of finding different locations around the floor. She also does a good job of remaining composed and not rushing things during scrambles. As White is able to continue to improve on her pacing and instincts, she should prove to be a top outside option.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
