Team Profile: Force 17-1

Here is a team that features some good talent in the Ohio 2026 class. With one more event on their schedule that is Summerfest in Columbus, they recently earned a 7th place finish in the Nike Open late last month. Here are five of their key prospects worth a look before their club season concludes.    Dunmire has one of the biggests arm on this team. She had a great fall high school season and is showing more assertiveness as a primary attacker this club season. At 6'0, she can get up and make aggressive contact. Her setters use her in a variety of ways in their offense as she can score through mid-tempo options at the pins and out of the back row and through quicker tempos around the setter as well.     Fetchik is an impact middle for this team and her ability to score helps to open space for their good pin action. She moves well around her setter with ability to score through multiple attack points. On the defensive side, she shows good patience to read the play development on the other side of the net to be able to make a good move and create good presence in front of the hitter when blocking.     McKinney is another key arm for this team but also handles a lot of the passing in serve receive as a six-rotation prospect. She has good fundamentals in her movement and angle production when passing while also showing good footwork and momentum build to take aggressive swings. She gets good lift, uses her touch point well, and can see things in front of her to take mindful swings into space or to challenge the block.     McKinney is another primary arm on this squad and can make big contributions in a variety of ways as six-rotation prospect. As a passer, she is part of the core group of passers that has good fundamentals in their movement and starting their offense. At 5'11, her platform range is a benefit to her ball control as well as her offense at the net as a hitter. She uses her touch point well and also has good vision to identify space in front of her and exploit it upon contact.     Terranova has good tools as a libero prospect. She helps command the serve receive well among her teammates and in their system by moving her feet well to track the ball, stay on balance, and keep her platform out front to deliver good tempo and space for her setters. A Gilmour Academy product, she has good training and competitive experience in her background that leads to good defensive effort and range led by her read and quick reactions.     At 5'6, Phipps shares the setting role for this Force team. Another Gilmour Academy product, she has good footwork in her pursuit of the second touch that helps her to get on balance often in the pocket and on the move away from the net. Her force and extension adjustments can put her hitters into good situations as her balance and ability to include hitters all around the court varies their offense and can create some hitter advantages.
