Prospect Roulette wraps up this month with the Class of 2028.

Here's how it works: We have 21 players ranked in the early stages of our Class of 2028 rankings. I will randomize and pick four numbers to spotlight those kids, then also randomize the over 100 Watch List kids and add for more to the article.

Let's see who has the lucky numbers for this month's edition:

18. [player_tooltip player_id='710236' first='Morgan' last='Borodychuk'], OH/MB Mt. Pleasant

This versatile 6-foot hitter can play anywhere along the net, which makes her a real force for opposing teams to have to deal with. She earned a lot of key reps as a freshman at the varsity level and that should lead to a bigger role coming this fall. Already a great athlete, Borodychuk should only get better as she sharpens her technique.

12. [player_tooltip player_id='587002' first='Cydnee' last='Speights'], OH/RS Mercy/Legacy

Speights is a firecracker that is ready to unload on the ball any chance she gets. She's got a good vertical and a violent swing that can create a lot of explosiveness at the net. She can play on either pin and finish at a high rate. She also puts in a lot of effort defensively and shows the drive to be a great player.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='574175' first='Payton' last='Woodruff'], S Country Day/Legacy

Woodruff is a prospect that everyone should have their eyes on. She's a talented young setter that is already showing the maturity and poise of an upperclassman. Woodruff doesn't get intimidated by high-pressure situations and she knows where the ball needs to go and gets it there accurately and timely. Sky is the limit for this setter.

10. [player_tooltip player_id='454374' first='Addison' last='Nostrandt'], DS/L Birch Run/Michigan Elite

Nostrandt has a lot of experience going up against powerful hitters, and it shows in her continued ascension as one of the state's best young defenders. She looks very polished in the back row, making accurate digs no matter how challenging to get to. Nostrandt don't show hesitation, and her quickness should continue to get better and better.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='778031' first='Ellie' last='Goers'], MB Grand Haven/MVA

A 6'1” middle, Goers got some experience with the Grand Haven varsity last season and she shows the potential to be a breakout star in the future. She's got length and has improved on her timing to be more disruptive with her blocking and attacks. As she gets more reps in the upcoming seasons, she should find another gear and compete to be among a top middle on the west side of the state.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='726856' first='Rania' last='Hamada'], OH/DS Troy/High Performance

Hamada is a prospect that has a good set of skills to be a strength in all areas of the game, but also shows the potential to take her game to another level. As an outside/DS, Hamada is able to display impressive reaction time to come through with a tough dig, or make a nice last-second adjustment on an attack. As she keeps learning and applying new details to her game, Hamada could be a very reliable six-rotation outside.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='587006' first='Hope' last='Purwadihardja'], DS/S Plymouth/Michigan Elite

Purwadihardja is another versatile prospect that can play libero, DS, or setter. She's got a great feel for the game and how a play is developing, which allows her to excel at either position. Her court IQ is a strength, as she takes to her coaching quickly and learns from her mistakes.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='587004' first='Elle' last='Beer'], OH Milford/Dynamite

Beer has been playing all over the court this club season and it's polished her overall game. She's got good form on her attacks, but still has room to grow in her timing and shot selection. But, she looks very comfortable taking swings from all across the net, as well as the back row. Beer's footwork is at a good place as well, which has allowed her to put up some impressive kill totals during club season.
