Ohio 2026: Five Additions to the Rankings

The Purdue-Fort Wayne commit is an impact middle, especially on the defensive side. Arriving on the radar late, she has some good physical tools between the pins, most impressively in her ability to move laterally and get up and over the net quickly and with good extension over the net. Her contact point is high and when her setter gives her some space to get up and reach, she can score with good movement. She is a core piece returning for a good Mentor program this coming fall and look for her impact to increase on both sides of the ball. Maibach is a point scorer. She led Norwayne offensively last fall at 3.7 k/s as the primary options for the Bobcats. Her contributions for NOVA's top 17U team this club season are not without notice as she gets a lot of swings from the right side of the court. She is an attacker that can score in different ways as she is athletic through her approach pattern. What I like a lot about her skill set as a hitter is that she is aggressive with her arm through her contact point. Moine (*pictured) has good tools in the passing and defensive phases. She reads the floor well and has good quickness to pursue the ball with positive impact for a high potential TSE offense. The Ursuline product has helped this TSE team through the current AAU national tournament at which they have a 9-2 overall record as they work through the consolation bracket and a potential top-10 finish. Coming this fall, she has an opportunity to assume a bigger role for the Lions in the GGCL. It has been fun to track Lipscomb's development this season as she is coming into her own as an impact middle. She is athletic with good quickness in her ability to get off the floor. As she is expanding the range of her approach patterns, she is finding more opportunities to swing and score. Her timing is key and when she can use her lift and contact point at its fullest she in relation to her setter she can swing with good force, which will benefit Pickerington North this coming fall if she can establish this rhythm. Bondar is an athletic middle who can develop good speed with her arm when on time and with good space around her setter. Her offense should be more of a factor this coming fall season for Avon Lake with the graduation of some other pieces. However, it was her defense that was key for the Shoremen in 2024 as she led her team at the net at 2.3 blocks per match.
